O HAI DDA! IM BAK!

In the First Dynasty of yuri_dragon_17, I left the DDA, stating that I would rejoin in the Sixth Dynasty of Kevan.

Well, what do you know… I’m back in the DDA! Also, I helped Wak with his scam to win last dynasty under the condition that he’d join the DDA; he agreed to join after the end of his dynasty. He is now a DDA member.

Please note that Wakukee is ni longer a DDA member.—Wakukee

Please note that Wakukee actually could not leave per the agreement, and is thus still a DDA member. -Darth

That part of the agreement was designated “a lie”. (Doctor Who reference!)

The only things I’ve been able to find about the DDA is that it means Dimensional Defense Agency, and an obscure document in Rodney’s wiki pages that now refer to it as the DD*. =P

So I have two questions: What’s the DDA for, and should I join? =)

No. you should hit DC upside the !@#!@#ing head.

DC: it’s not even amusing anymore. if you want to plot, go right ahead. Stop bothering me with it.

The DDA was something from Rodlen’s first dynasty close to two years ago. Some players have decided that they will turn it into a group of players who scam together across dynasties.

You should most definitely not join.

DDA is basically an in-joke among a small, small minority * of Blognomic regulars who find it funny and not annoying. The rest of us, the other way around.

* Given that the list of Blognomic regulars is itself small, this is really saying something.

Ah, I think I understand now. Thanks for the explanation! ^_^

Who actually is in the DDA?
All I can think of is Darth, Qwaz, and Wak. Who… all joined /after/ Rodlen’s dynasty…

Oh, yeah, Rodlen himself, of course.

Ienpw III: You are a member. You never left. Also, spikebrennan, it’s not a joke, it’s an alliance of players who attempt to win dynasties.

I never joined.

Qwazukee:

What Ienpw III says is true, DC. Think about it.

Klisz:

Ienpw III joined back in ais’s dynasty.

I didn’t join. You guys helped me win back when I first started, but I never actually joined.

And now I refuse to have anything to do with it.

Wakukee:

15-01-2010 04:55:40 UTC

I officially renounce all associations with the DDA.

And to think I was planning on unidling for this dynasty…

Qwazukee:

Ienpw III never was a part of the DDA. yuri was for a short time, back when the DDA was cool.

But these things come and go in phases. The DDA has been on Hiatus for a while and will be for a while yet.

And I suppose that is some proof that the DDA is still doing its job.

For Dimensional Stability!

Isn’t there some kind of anti-Terrorism loophole we can use to ban the DDA forever?

Posting a blog entry about your personal metagame (which only one or zero other readers are playing) is bordering on “spamming the BlogNomic blog”, Darth. Please give it a rest.

Actually, the History Page could use an article on the DDA.

That sounds like a compounded redundancy.

Excalabur:

15-01-2010 15:25:44 UTC

Ienpw: no, it doesn’t.

Qwazukee:

The DDA isn’t a terrorist group. Sheesh, so much built up anger. It’s not like the DDA ever actually accomplished anything.

Klisz:

15-01-2010 17:00:38 UTC

@Wakukee: Part of the agreement was that you would never leave.

Terrorist group sounds about right. It makes the game less fun for everyone else. Glad to see at least a few of you have come to your senses.

Hey, one time I was conspiring to win during the Dynasty of SatyrEyes with some dude named that has been idle for four years.

THE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW!

(Darth, give it a %$!@ing rest already.)

Wakukee:

15-01-2010 22:47:58 UTC

I highly doubt that I said that. And if even if I did, would it really matter if I was an unwilling member of your group? Would it really be helpful to have someone who knows all about your plans, but doesn’t want to follow them?

Klisz:

17-01-2010 18:21:36 UTC

Jeez Wak, the DDA has been exploded anyway.
