Proposal: Hope is the worst of [Evil]s, for it prolongs the torment of man

timed out, final vote 5-6—Yoda
Soyweiser gets 1 GL, since it was not sharked.

The proposal “Victory is even sweeter when you can actually achieve victory” succeeded, but failed to execute properly because the rule it applied to didn’t exist. So this is a recreation of that proposal, with an additional target to work to.

Create a rule titled “Domination” with the text

A Henchman may not achieve victory while their GL is 0.

If a ’’’Henchmans’’’ GL exceeds the ’’’Overlords’’’ GL, and the ’’’Henchmans’’’ INT exceeds the ’’’Overlords’’’ INT, and the ’’’Henchmans’’’ MS exceeds the ’’’overlords’’’ MS, that ’’’Henchman’’’ may achieve victory.

If the ‘Proposal: Pirahna Tank’ failed, add the following text to rule “Domination” .

If a ‘’’Henchman’’’ creates a DoV post that fails, that henchmans GL will be reduced to 0.

If the majority of valid for votes include the text “You do smell nice, but why are you looking at me like that? And could you please stop nibbling my leg?”, create the following Enemy Group.

Name: Ghastly Clean Aboriginal Cannibals
Leader: Sterwi Dasyatidae
App. Number of Members: 212
Weapons: Smelly Soap, Poisoned Spears, Metal boomerangs, A cooking pot so large it could cook us all.
HQ Location: Oceania

for “You do smell nice, but why are you looking at me like that? And could you please stop nibbling my leg?”

To pass the condition I set for the third part of the proposition.

You don’t have to put triple single quotes around “overlord” and “henchmen”. They’re bold in the core rules, but not the dynastic rules, and no, I don’t have any idea why. Your doing it doesn’t hurt anything, though.

against Since “may achieve victory” just means that it is possible for them to win, as opposed to “may declare victory”, which is what I think you meant.

Previous proposals also used the line achieve victory, so I just copied it from that. I thought that may achieving victory allowed you to ‘get’ victory using a DoV.

If you achieve victory, you win.
If you may achieve victory, you are allowed to win.
If you may declare victory, you can (legitimately) claim that you’ve won.

If people think I’m wrong about this, I’ll change my vote, but I’m pretty sure about this interpretation.

It’s [Evil] so needs a sharkfin more than a downvote.

Frankly, I don’t understand the Overlord’s criteria for what gets sharked and what doesn’t in the slightest.

Uh, but that’s surely because I am such a lowly worm before him! Please don’t smite me, Overlord.

against I think we should go more on the side of who is the most evil (highest GL) once we achieve world domination.

I like the idea for the enemy group though.

I agree with the flying 0/2 artifact creature’s interpretation.

You do smell nice, but why are you looking at me like that? And could you please stop nibbling my leg?

against For the second paragraph…for legitimate uses of DoVs that may be voted down on a difference of interpretation.  I think retroactive rather than proactive proposals should do fine.  The rest I was okay with.
