Proposal: Down and out

Veto -Darknight

Adminned at 01 Oct 2008 11:44:58 UTC

Add the following line to the end of the main paragraph in the rule called “Battle”.

In the event a dragon’s Heartbeat drops to 0 or less and becomes dead then the battle automatically comes to an end.

This is to avoid having a dragon get stuck beating up a dead dragon.

Proposal: Betting: we all like a little flurish on the dragons

timed out 1-3. failed.-Darknight

Adminned at 03 Oct 2008 11:03:04 UTC

Create a new rule named “ Betting

If a duel or challenge is occurring breeders who are not participating may place bets on which dragon they believe will be victorious. These bets will come in the form of cookies and must be placed prior to the second round of moves of the participating dragons. If the dragon they believe to win is victorious they receive 1/3 of the amount they bet plus there original stake. If the dragon these believe to win losses they loose there stake.

please may i have suggestions how this idea could be tracked because i am unsure thank you

Proposal: Ready to rumble?

timed 5 to 2-Darknight

Adminned at 03 Oct 2008 10:59:20 UTC

Create a new sub-rule “System” under rule “Battle”:

Once a Battle has initiated and the turn order has been decided, Breeders may take turns posting their actions to the Battle Thread. A turn lasts until the Breeder’s Dragon uses a Move or until 24 hours have elapsed after the start of the turn. The Dragonmaster is also considered a Breeder for this rule.

When Breeders are participating in a Battle, they may not use Potion or Artifact Items except during their turn, and only may use one Item each turn. If they wish to use an item during the battle, they must include a message in their Battle Thread comment like, “Using X:” replacing X with the name of the Item and followed by the result of using the item (including the results of any dice rolls made while using the Item).

If a move used by a Dragon would inflict zero or less damage, that move inflicts no damage instead.

A Breeder or may also opt to use a special action instead of using a Dragon’s Move during their turn. These special actions are “Retreat!” and “Defend!”. Each of these actions are invoked by making a comment on the battle thread including the name of the special action. Their effects are:

Retreat: The Breeder using it immediately losses the Battle. This special action has no effect if the Battle Thread’s title contains the text “[Hardcore]” or the user is the Dragonmaster.

Defend: The Dragon makes no move, but the turn ends. Next turn, if damage would be received by your Dragon, the opponent must roll 1DICE5 and get a 1, or no damage is dealt. You may not use this special action again within 72 hours.

Proposal: Rewards where duel

timed 7 to 1-Darknight

Adminned at 01 Oct 2008 21:46:59 UTC

In the Rule entitled “Duels”, change the text

The winner of a Duel adds an amount of Cookies equal to twice the amount that was bet.

to

The winner of a Duel adds an amount of Cookies equal to twice the amount that was bet.  Also, both the winner and the loser of the Duel receive an amount of Cookies equal to one-third of the total Heartbeat lost during the Duel, rounded down.

We can think of this as Cookies skimmed from legal bets placed by non-Breeders, but the real point is to let both sides recoup some of their lost Heartbeat, making battling slightly less risky.

Proposal: The Weight Room is not located in the Arena.

Add a new subrule to the Rule entitled “Battle”.  Call it “Time Freeze” and give it the following text:

While a Dragon is in a Battle, it cannot be trained under the Rule entitled “Training” and its subrules.  Whenever a Dragon leaves a Battle, whether it won or not, within 24 hours its Breeder may train it one extra time for each full day the dragon was in the battle.  For example, if a Dragon joined a battle at 9:00 on a Monday and Retreated at 20:00 on the following Thursday, its Breeder could train it two extra times.

Add a new rule named “Dragon Eggs” and give it the following text:

Each Breeder may own Dragon Eggs. They are tracked in the wiki document titled “Dragon Eggs”. In it there will be a heading for every Breeder, and under each heading are the Dragon Eggs that that Breeder owns.  Dragon Eggs have all the same stats that Dragons do, and they also have a color from the list of colors Dragons can be. A Breeder may transfer a Dragon Egg to another Breeder at any time.

Add another new rule named “Breeding” and give it the following text:

Breeders may breed Dragons together. To do so, one Breeder, whose Dragon is known as the Base, makes a post titled “[Breeding] (Base) + (Mate)”, where (Base) is replaced by the name of the Base, and Mate is replaced by the name of the prospective Dragon to be the Mate. This counts as a weekly action. The owner of the second Dragon named may post a comment containing the FOR symbol, and if he does the Breeding occurs. If he posts an AGAINST, or does not post either within forty-eight hours, the Breeding does not occur.

Add a sub-rule to it titled “When Breeding occurs”:

When Breeding occurs, within forty-eight hours of it occouring, either Breeder involved may post one comment in the GNDT of “Claiming Eggs DICE2”. If they roll a one, they may add a Dragon Egg to the Dragon Eggs page in the wiki under their heading, with the color of the Base (unless otherwise noted by another sub-rule) and each stat equal to (Base’s stat + Mate’s stat)/2. If they roll a two, they may add a Dragon Egg in this way twice. In either case, they may not post another comment for this Breeding.

And change the text of Rule 2.2, “Dragons”, to:

All Breeders are entitled to owning at least one Dragon. If at any time a Breeder has no Dragon, or if their Dragon is Dead, they may adopt one by naming it and choosing color for it, or they may hatch a Dragon Egg they own. Once a Breeder has a Dragon, it’s Name and Color shall be recorded in the GNDT by its owner’s name (under Columns “Dragon Name” and “Color” respectively). A newly adopted Dragon cannot be named after any existing Dragon, Breeder or Dragonmaster. The color of an adopted Dragon can be any of the ones defined as a sub-rule to the rule, “Colors”. The newly adopted Dragon becomes the Breeder’s active Dragon.

If the Breeder hatches a Dragon Egg, the Egg is removed from the wiki page, and they choose a name in the same way that they would adopt a Dragon. This new Dragon has the color and stats of the Egg it was hatched from.

This is a new try at a breeding rule. Note how the stats of the new Dragon are the average of its parents. That way, it’s not absurdly easy to make a hyper-powerful dragon by breeding ones with high stats in every catagory. Breeders have a chance at getting extra eggs to use as trades/gifts/bribes/prizes/whatever. Also, a future proposal could add more colors gotten only by breeding, but then again, that might get unbalanced.

Joe has Arrived

My name is Joe. I’ve been browsing this nomic since around . . . well, about ten dynasties ago or so tops. I decided that I would finally join up, and will probably be up and playing rather soon.

‘Ere Ye Be Dragons

In accordance with rule 1.2, I hereby announce my arrival.

Proposal: Fixed Stuff

Time out with quorum but without the half for the second half to enact.-Darknight

Adminned at 28 Sep 2008 16:23:40 UTC

Add the following to the end of rule “Item Shop”:

Charm of Feathers - Potion 20: If used during battle, the Wings and Scales of the user’s Dragon are increased by 1DICE4 (roll once for each stat), until the end of the battle.
Charm of Thorns - Potion 20: If used during battle, the Muscle and Flames of the user’s Dragon are increased by 1DICE4 (roll once for each stat), until the end of the battle.
Exploding Flask - Potion 35: If used during battle, roll 3DICE10 and substract your opponent’s Scales. If the result is greater than 0, your opponent’s Dragon takes that much damage.
Replicating Bag - Artifact 120: Choose an item you own of type Potion. You obtain a copy of that item.
Fortune Cookie - Artifact 150: You gain 1DICE100 Cookies.
Everlasting Vial - Artifact 80: Add 1DICE20 to your active Dragon’s Heartbeat, or 1DICE30 if the color of your Dragon is Green.
Frozen Gasp - Talisman 90: If the Heartbeat of your Dragon would be reduced to zero, it is reduced to one instead, then remove this item from your backpack.
Thunder Ring - Talisman 130: When your Dragon uses a move, you may roll DICE10. On a 1, the opponent’s Dragon takes 3DICE4 damage (ignoring Scales) and loses it’s next turn.
Acid Armlet - Talisman 75: While in a battle, your opponent’s Muscle and Scales are considered to be 1 point lower than their actual value.

If more than half of all comments containing counted votes also contain the text “Rewards”, then create a new rule “Rewards” with text:

Whenever a proposal passes, the Breeder that created that proposal and the admin that enacted it may purchase one item from the Item Shop at 50% off price (rounded up). For this offer to be valid, the purchase must be done before 24 hours have elapsed after the enactment of that proposal. This offer does not stack if the admin that enacted it and the proposer are the same individual.

If the Proposal titled “A Challenging Proposal” failed, this Proposal does nothing.

Create a Subrule to the Rule entitled “Challenges.”  Call it “Showdown” and give it the following text:

There exists a Battle Thread, called the Succession Challenge, with the title “Succession Challenge”.  This Battle Thread follows the same rules as a Challenge.  If a Breeder wins the Succession Challenge, he has achieved victory.

In the Rule entitled “Challenges”, change the text

A Dragonmaster who is not currently in a battle

to

A Dragonmaster who is not currently in a battle (excluding the Succession Challenge)

Create a Challenge entitled “Succession Challenge”.  It shall have an admittance cost of 30 cookies.  The dragon in the Challenge shall have a value of 30 for all stats except for Heartbeat, and a value of 200 for Heartbeat.  The Dragonmaster may edit this Challenge exactly once, in order to set the dragon’s Name and Color.

Proposal: Adding more stuff

Vetoed to let Art propose a fix.-Darknight

Adminned at 26 Sep 2008 12:08:31 UTC

Add the following to rule “Item Shop”:

Charm of Feathers - Potion 25: If used during battle, the Wings and Scales of the user’s Dragon are increased by 4DICE3 each, until the end of the battle.
Charm of Thorns - Potion 25: If used during battle, the Muscle and Flames of the user’s Dragon are increased by 3DICE4 each, until the end of the battle.
Replicating Bag - Artifact 120: Choose an item you own of type Potion. You obtain a copy of that item.
Fortune Cookie - Artifact 300: You gain 1DICE100 Cookies.
Frozen Gasp - Talisman 180: If the Heartbeat of your Dragon would be reduced to zero, it is reduced to one instead. Remove this item from your backpack.
Thunder Ring - Talisman 90: When your Dragon uses a move, roll DICE9. On a 1, the opponent’s Dragon takes 3DICE5 damage and loses it’s next turn.

If more than half of all comments containing counted votes also contain the text “Rewards”, create a new rule “Rewards” that reads:

When a proposal is enacted, the Breeder who proposed it may obtain a reward within a period of 24 hours from the proposal’s enactment. To obtain the reward, no more two FOR votes on that proposal may contain the text “No Cookie”. If this requirement is met, the proposer may spend 15 Cookies and comment “Reward DICEX” in the GNDT, where X is the number of different items in the Item Shop rule. The proposer then obtains the item from the position determined by the roll in descending order.

Proposal: A Challenging Proposal

Times out 7-0—arthexis

Adminned at 28 Sep 2008 13:00:18 UTC

Create a new rule “Battles”, placing it right before rule “Moves” in the Ruleset, and give it this text:

Dragons may fight with each other, and such an event is called a Battle. There are two types of Battles: Duels and Challenges. If a Dragon is currently participating in a battle, its Breeder may not join another battle at the same time. Sub-rules “Duels” and “Challenges” explain how to start and join battles, while sub-rule “System” explains how to proceed once a battle starts. Battles may not take place if these three sub-rules are not defined. All battles are handled through story posts (one for each battle) and the story post where a battle takes place is called the Battle Thread. The Breeder that starts a Battle Thread is known as the Host, other Breeders that participate in that battled are the Guests. When a Battle Thread is created, its Host may include “[Hardcore]” in its tittle. If the Host doesn’t, any participant may retreat at any time by making a comment of “Retreat!” on the Battle Thread, and thus loses the battle.

Create sub-rule “Duels” under rule “Battles”:

A Breeder who is not currently in a battle may announce a Duel by creating a Battle Thread with “[Duel]” at the beginning of its title. The text of the story post must contain the following information: the name of another Breeder (the Guest to be, or Invitee) who the poster attempts to duel and the amount of Cookies that will be bet on the Duel. Then, the Host must spend an amount of Cookies equal to the amount that was bet on the story post. The Invitee has up to 48 hours to respond to the duel by making a comment on the story post and spending an amount of Cookies equal to the amount that was bet on the story post, then makes a roll of DICE2 on the GNDT. On a result of 1, the Guest takes the first turn that battle, otherwise the other Host does. If the Invitee does not join the battle within 48 hours, the Battle is canceled and the Host obtains all the Cookies that where spent on the bet for that Battle Thread. The winner of a Duel adds an amount of Cookies equal to twice the amount that was bet. No more comments are allowed on the Battle Thread once the winner has been decided.

Create sub-rule “Challenges” under rule “Battles”:

A Dragonmaster who is not currently in a battle may announce a Challenge by creating a Battle Thread with “[Challenge]” at the beginning of its title. The text of the story post must specify an admittance cost in Cookies that must be spent by Breeders joining in the Challenge, and the full stats, name and color of the Dragon that the Dragonmaster will be considered to be using for that challenge (the stats can be anything that the Dragonmaster wants, and are valid only within that Battle Thread) Breeders not currently in battle may join the Challenge and become Guests by spending the Cookie admittance cost specified, but only if there are no other Guests in the Challenge. Upon joining, a Guest has a turn immediately. If a Guest loses the battle, that Breeder stops being a Guest but the Battle Thread continues, allowing other Breeders to join. If a Guest wins, that Breeder obtains an amount of Cookies equal to three times the admittance cost, then the Challenge ends and no more Breeders may join.

Create a new rule “Items”:

There exist objects called Items, which belong to one of three Item Types: Artifacts, Talismans and Potions. A Breeder may own Items if a rule or proposal allows it, and keeps track of them in the “Backpack” wiki document. This document shall be formated as a list of Breeders that own items, followed by a colon and a comma separated list of the items they own. If they own more than 1 of the same Item, they may instead specify their quantity before the item’s name. A Breeder may not own more than 6 Items at the same time. Owners of purple Dragons may carry 2 additional items from the start. Each Item has a Name, Type, Description and a Cost in Cookies. Only the owner of an Item may use it. The purpose and rules for an Item varies according to its Type and the actual item itself, as follows:

Potions: Items of this type may be used once, then their user removes them from their list of items. When the item is used, follow the instructions on the description of that item.
Talismans: Talismans are never used, they have effects that apply all the time. The description of the item specifies what kind of effect it has.
Artifacts: Items of the Artifact type can be used more than once, but may only be used as a weekly action. Their description contains instructions to follow when using them.

Create new rule “Item Shop”:

There exists a shop where Breeders may purchase items by spending cookies. All items that can be purchased from the shop are listed in this rule after this sentence, each one including their Name, Type, Cost and Description in that order (eg. Item - Type Cost: Description)

Blood Salve - Potion 20:
If used in battle, adds 10DICE3 to the User’s Dragon Heartbeat, or 15DICE3 if the user’s Dragon is Green.

Miracle Elixir - Potion 50:
If used in battle, adds 5DICE2 to each of your Dragon’s stats except Heartbeat during this turn and the next.

Resist Ring - Talisman 30:
If your Dragon where to take damage, it takes 1 less damage instead, or 2 less damages if the user’s Dragon is Silver.

Anger Crown - Talisman 60:
Whenever you use a move, your opponent takes 1DICE2 extra damage, or 3 if their user’s Dragon is Red.

Staff of Greed - Artifact 80:
Spend 10 Cookies. If you do, choose a stat other than Heartbeat. Your dragon’s chosen stat goes up by 2, or 3 if the user’s Dragon is Black.

Chromatic Wand - Artifact 120:
Change the color of your Dragon to any different valid color.

If the Backpack wiki document exists, blank it.

I decided to include the Item Shop inside a rule to prevent the item spawning shennigans from previous dynasties (where items could be created without having to pass them through a proposal) Right now there is no way to have more than 30 Cookies, but I plan for Cookies to be won through battles (and maybe we can bet items too)

Call for Judgment: Hey, my dragon has no fire to it…

Recent proposal “More stats! More fun!” gave our Dragons new stats of Wings and Flame, but it didn’t specify what existing dragon owners should set those to! Since there are already pending proposals that depend on those stats, we should fix that in a CfJ before those proposals become enacted.

If this CfJ passes set the Flame and Wings stats of Breeders with Dragons to 5 each.

Proposal: Time for a workout

Passes 9-1—arthexis

Adminned at 25 Sep 2008 13:08:43 UTC

Add the following Subrules to the Rule entitled “Training”:

Aerobics:

This set of exercises builds the dragon’s stamina and lung capacity.  The breeder posts a comment in the GNDT of “Aerobics DICE3”.  The dragon being trained gains Flame equal to the result of the DICE roll.  If the result of the DICE roll was a 1 or 2, the dragon also gains 1 point of Muscle; if it was 1, the dragon gains 10 Heartbeat.  (This can result in a very fit dragon with a Heartbeat over 100.)

A Red dragon training in Aerobics gains an additional point of Flame on a 1.  A Black dragon training in Aerobics does not gain any Heartbeat on a 1, but gains an additional point of Muscle instead.  A Purple dragon gains only two points of flame on a 3 instead of three.

Obstacle Course:

This set of exercises teaches a dragon to maneuver at high speeds.  The breeder posts a comment in the GNDT of “Obstacle Course DICE3”  If the result is a 3, the dragon being trained gains 3 points of Wings.  If the result was a 2, the dragon gains 2 point of Wings and 1 point of Scales.  If the result was a 1, roll DICE10 in the GNDT.  The dragon gains 2 points of Scales and loses Heartbeat equal to the result of the DICE roll.

A Silver dragon gains an extra point of Wings on a 2.  A Green dragon gains one fewer point of Wings on a 3 and one more point of Scales on a 1.  A Purple dragon does not lose any Heartbeat on a 1.  A Black dragon rolls DICE2 instead of DICE3 as it blunders thorough the course, but always gains 1 extra point of Scales.

Weight Training:

This exercise is good for building power and little else.  The breeder posts a comment in the GNDT of “Weight Training DICE3”.  The dragon being trained gains 3 muscle regardless of the result, but loses 1 point of Wings if the result was a 1.

A Silver dragon loses Flame instead of Wings on a 1.  A Purple dragon loses Scales instead of Wings on a 1.  A Black dragon loses Heartbeat equal to the result of the DICE roll.

Hunting Expedition:

This field exercise gives the dragon the chance to hone a variety of skills.  The breeder posts a comment in the GNDT of “Weight Training DICE4”.  Regardless of the result, the dragon being trained loses 5 Heartbeat from the exertion.  If the result was a 1, the dragon gains 2 Flame and 1 Muscle.  If the result was a 2, the dragon gains 2 Scales and 1 Flame.  If the result was a 3, the dragon being trained gains 2 Wings and 1 Scales.  If the result was a 4, the dragon gains 2 Wings, 1 Flame, and 1 Scales and loses 10 extra Heartbeat.

A Silver dragon loses 5 fewer Heartbeat.  A Green dragon gains Muscle instead of Scales on a 4.  A Black dragon gains extra Muscle instead of Flames on a 3.

Ritual of Power:

This is a gruelling and dangerous exercise with high payoffs.  The Breeder posts a comment in the GNDT of “Power Training DICE3 DICE39”. Regardless of the result of the DICE3 roll, the dragon being trained gains 1 point of each stat except Heartbeat, and loses Heartbeat equal to the result of the DICE39 roll.  If the result of the DICE roll was a 1, the dragon gains 1 additional point of Flame.  If the result of the DICE roll was 2, the dragon gains 1 additional point of Scales.  If the result of the DICE roll was a 3, the dragon gains 1 additional point of Muscle.

If the dragon being trained was Black, it loses 6 additional points of Heartbeat; if the result of the roll was a 2, it gains an additional point of Scales, and if the result of the roll was a 3, it gains an additional point of Muscle.

He left before the dragon was born…

jmrdex goes idle. He should have a while ago but nobody noticed. Quorum remains 9.

Proposal: And… Action!

Self-killed—arth

Adminned at 24 Sep 2008 20:09:11 UTC

If the proposal “More stats! More fun!” fails, this proposal does nothing.

Rename rule 2.6 (“Training”) to “Dragon Actions” and give it the following content:

Each dragon has a Status, to be tracked by the GNDT. The Status may be either “Training”, “Healing”, “In the Open”, or “Fight #X”, with X being the number of a fight. Fights are numbered in the order of their beginning.

Each Breeder may change their dragon’s Status between “Healing”, “Training” and “In the Open” as a daily action, if the dragon is not involved in a fight and has not done a Dragon Action on that day yet. Fights can only be begun and ended as described the sub-rule “Fight”.

If a dragon’s Status is “Healing”, they may use Healing, as described in the sub-rule “Healing”, as a daily action.

If a dragon’s Status is “Training”, they may use Training, as described in the sub-rule “Training”, as a daily action.

If a dragon’s Status is “In the Open”, they may, as a daily action, either use both Training and Healing on the same day (each once), or start a fight against other dragons with the Status “In the Open”, as described in the sub-rule “Fight”

Starting a fight is currently not possible.

Create a sub-rule to “Dragon Actions” with the title “Healing” and the content:

When using Healing, roll 1DICE20 and add the result to the dragon’s Heartbeat. If this results in the Heartbeat being higher than 100, set the Heartbeat to 100.

Create a sub-rule to “Dragon Actions” with the title “Training” and the content:

When using Training, the dragon uses one of the training methods described in the sub-rules to “Training”.

This training will modify the stats of the dragon. This modification depends only on the dragon’s color and its stats before the training, and may contain random elements.

Create a sub-rule to “Dragon Actions” with the title “Fight” and the content:

When a fight begins, all dragons involved in it change their Status to “Fight #X”, with X being the number of the fight. After a fight begins, no other dragons can enter into it.

A fight ends for a dragon involved if the dragon either dies or flees, or is the only one left, or the remaining alive dragons in the fight all declare peace. When a fight ends for a dragon, and it is still alive, set its Status to “Healing”.

In rule “Vital Signs” replace the text

A new Dragon has a value of 5 for all stats except for Heartbeat and a Heartbeat of 100.

with

A new Dragon has a value of 5 for all stats except for Heartbeat, a Heartbeat of 100, and a Status of “Healing”.

Set each dragon’s Status to “Healing”.
This should develop the framework a bit. The details are still open, and starting a fight is explicitly marked as not yet possible. This precaution would be removed when the fighting system is developed.

Add a new dynastic rule “Breeding” with the following rules text:

Each Breeder has a statistic “Dragon Gender” tracked in the GNDT. The Dragon Gender can either be “Male”, “Female” or be empty. If a Breeder’s Dragon Gender is empty any Breeder may comment GE DICE2 in the GNDT. If the die result was a 1 the Dragon Gender becomes Male otherwise it becomes Female. New Breeders start with an empty Dragon Gender. If a Breeder’s Dragon Gender is Male that Breeder is said to have a Male Dragon. If a Breeder’s Dragon Gender is Female that Breeder is said to have a Female Dragon.

Each Breeder has a statistic “Dragon Fertility” tracked in the GNDT. The Dragon Fertility can either be “Fertile”, “Infertile” or be empty. If a Breeder’s Dragon Fertility is empty any Breeder may comment FE DICE3 in the GNDT. If the die result was a 1 the Dragon Fertility becomes Infertile otherwise it becomes Fertile. New Breeders start with an empty Dragon Fertility. If a Breeder’s Dragon Fertility is Fertile that Breeder is said to have a Fertile Dragon. If a Breeder’s Dragon Fertility is Infertile that Breeder is said to have an Infertile Dragon.

Each Breeder has statistic “Baby Dragons” tracked in the GNDT. The Baby Dragons is a non-negative integer that starts at 0.

Add a Sub-rule to the new rule “Breeding” titled “Making Babies” with the following rules text:

As a weekly action any Breeder who has a Female Dragon, which is Fertile, may make a Story Post Titled “A Mates B?” where A is that Breeder’s Dragon Name and B is the Dragon Name of the Breeder of a Male Dragon which is Fertile. If the Breeder of the Male Dragon agrees that Breeder posts the FOR icon and comments BR DICE2 in the GNDT and increases the Baby Dragons of both themself and the Breeder of the Female Dragon by the result minus 1. They also set the Dragon Fertility of both Breeders’ to empty. If the Breeder of the Male Dragon doesn’t agree that Breeder post the AGAINST icon and nothing happens.

As a weekly action any Breeder who has an Infertile Dragon may set their Dragon Fertility to empty.

Add a Sub-rule to “Breeding” titled “Growing up” with the following rules text:

As a daily action, If a Breeder’s Baby Dragons is at least 1, that Breeder may clear all their statistics except Cookies and Baby Dragons and reduce their Baby Dragons by 1.

I know this is a big rule. It adds a way to replace a dragon if you don’t like the one you currently have.

Proposal: Move it or lose it

Times out 5-1—arth

Adminned at 24 Sep 2008 19:47:33 UTC

If the Proposal titled “More stats!  More fun!” failed, this Proposal does nothing.

Create a new rule called “Moves”:

A Dragon may perform a move only while in battle and only during its turn. When the Dragon performs a move, the turn ends unless the attack specifies it otherwise. Each of the sub-rules to this rule defines one of the valid moves that a Dragon may perform. In this sub-rules, the Dragon performing the move is the attacker, and the other Dragon in the battle is the opponent.

When a rule says that a Dragon takes damage, it means that its Heartbeat becomes reduced by an ammount equal to that damage. If a Dragon is said to avoid damage, it means the avoided damage does not reduce its Heartbeat.

Create the following as sub-rules to rule “Moves”:

Dragon Claw:

The attacker throws a swipe at its enemy with its powerful claws. Multiply the attacker’s Muscle by 2, then substract the opponent’s Scales. If the result is greater than zero, the attacker deals that much damage to the oponent.

Dragon Fang:

The attacker bites its enemy with sharp fangs, inflicting a grievious wound. Roll 3DICEX where X is the attacker’s Muscle, then substract the opponent’s Scales. If the result greater than zero, the attacker deals that much damage to the opponent. If damage dealt with this move is more than the oponent’s Muscle, the turn does not end.

Dragon Breath:

The attacker spits flames at the oponent, which not even a dragon’s hide can resist. Roll XDICE3 where X is the attackers Flame. The opponent takes that much damage. This move cannot be used on your following two turns.

Dragon Flight:

The dragon begins to fly, making it easier to avoid enemy attacks. The attacker (the one performing this move) automatically avoids the next XDICE2 damage done to it during this battle, where X is its Wings at the time they performed this move.

Dragon Dive:

Can only be performed if the attacker used Dragon Flight on its last turn. Roll 2DICEX where X is the Muscle and Wings of the attacker added together, and substract the Scales of the opponent. If the result is greater than zero, the opponent takes that much damage. If the opponent took no damage from this attack, the attacker skips its next turn.

Proposal: Dragon-sized Pack

Passes after Timeout—arth

Adminned at 23 Sep 2008 23:26:43 UTC

If the Rule “Vital Signs” does not exist, this Proposal does nothing.

Modify Rule “Cookies”, changing the first instance of “Breeder” into “Breeder and Dragonmaster”, then add the following text to the end of that rule:

As a daily action, a Breeder or Dragonmaster may spend any amount of Cookies and include a comment in the GNDT with the format “Feeding X” where X must be replaced by the name of an existing non-dead non-battling Dragon, and then increase the Heartbeat of that Dragon by an amount equal to the Cookies spent this way. This action is called Feeding (the named Dragon is subsequently the fed Dragon). A Dragon may not be fed if that would cause it’s Heartbeat to raise above 100.

So, Cookies heal on a 1 for 1 basis, but cannot make your Dragon more healthy than normal. I plan however, to have something that does allow you to increase Heartbeat past the 100 mark. Everybody can feed any dragon (make a temporary truce with someone perhaps?), including the Dragonmaster.

Proposal: More stats!  More fun!

Times out, passes—arthexis

Adminned at 23 Sep 2008 23:18:07 UTC

If there is no Rule entitled “Vital Signs”, this proposal does nothing.  Otherwise, reword the Rule as follows.

Each dragon has five stats, to be tracked on the GNDT. The stats are called Heartbeat, Muscle, Scales, Flame and Wings. Muscle represents how strong a dragon’s attack is, Scales represents how well a dragon defends from an attack, Flame represents the power of the dragon’s breath attack and Wings represents its airborne speed and maneuverability. Heartbeat represents how much damage a dragon can take.  Muscle, Flame and Scales can never fall below 1, if they would then set them to 1 instead.  Wings may drop to exactly 0, but can never be less than 0.  Heartbeat can be any integer, positive or negative.

A dragon with a Wings stat of 0 is considered Crippled.  A dragon with a Heartbeat of 0 or less is considered Dead and its Breeder must start raising a new dragon.

A new Dragon has a value of 5 for all stats except for Heartbeat and a Heartbeat of 100.

Proposal: Let’s have some color!

Times out at 6-1. Oze

Adminned at 23 Sep 2008 07:55:22 UTC

If the Proposal titled “I want a purple Dragon” failed, this Proposal does nothing.  Otherwise, add the following subrules to the Rule entitled “Colors”.

Silver:

Silver dragons are playful and energetic.  They are quick learners and are relatively easy to train.  They have a set small horns on their head that resemble a coronet.

Red:

Red dragons are temperamental and touchy.  They tend to be smaller than other dragons, but possess a larger flame bladder than similarly sized dragons.  They also have a distinctive set of tail spikes.

Purple

Purple dragons are the only dragon type with opposable claws.  They must be kept in a different kind of pen after the age of two months, as they will eventually learn to open the gate themselves.  To make matters worse, they have both the wit and temperament to play minor practical jokes on their breeders.

Black:

Black dragons are squat and muscular, with a prominent row of spines down their back .  They respond to most situations with total apathy, and are considered the most difficult type to train properly.  However, a fully grown and trained Black is extremely formidable.

Green:

Physically, green dragons are a compromise between other types, with a frame midway between Silver’s sleek grace and Black’s bulk.  They have a calm temperament in general, but are unstoppable when they’re angry.

Since everyone else seems to be doing it…

I unidle. Quorum stays at 8.

Proposal: Training Day

Times out at 7-0 Oze

Adminned at 22 Sep 2008 13:09:29 UTC

Create a new rule called “Training” with the following text:

As a daily action, each Breeder may train their active dragon using one of the training methods described in the subrules to this rule.

This training will modify the stats of the dragon. This modification depends only on the dragon’s color and its stats before the training, and may contain random elements.

For example, a red dragon using a muscle-building training may be more likely to succeed than a golden dragon, but the golden dragon can improve its scales more easily. Also, I’m leaving a door open to methods like sparring fights which only work optimally if the dragon is really fit, while normal methods may be used any time.

In the rule “Dragons”, change the following text:

(under Columns “Name” and “Color” respectively)

to

(under Columns “Dragon Name” and “Color” respectively)

Proposal: Now turn and cough

Times out at 6-1 Oze

Adminned at 22 Sep 2008 13:03:12 UTC

Create a new rule called “Vital Signs” with the following text,

Each dragon has three stats, to be tracked on the GNDT. The stats are called Muscle, Scales and Heartbeat. Muscle represents how strong a dragon’s attack is, Scales represents how well a dragon defends from an attack and Heartbeat represents how much damage a dragon can take. Set all new dragon’s Muscle and Scales stats to 5 and Heartbeat stat to 100. Muscle and Scales can never fall below 1, if they would then set them to 1 instead. If the Heartbeat of a dragon falls to zero, that dragon is considered dead and its Breeder must start raising a new dragon.

I wanted to start the frame work on stats. I think this beats basic names like health lol. And while I know it talks about attacks when no rule brings up attacks I figured it never hurts to plant the seeds for battle.

Proposal: I don’t want cookies. I want more Cookies

2-7. Failed.-Darknight

Adminned at 22 Sep 2008 11:13:46 UTC

If the Proposal titled “And I want Cookies too!” fails this proposal does nothing. Otherwise:

Add to the rule titled “Cookies” the following:

If a Proposal Passes, the Breeder who proposed it may increase their cookies by 1.

Proposal: Each dragon wears chainmail

Vetoed

Adminned at 20 Sep 2008 18:02:16 UTC

Create a new rule “chainmail”

Each breeder as a daily action, can increase there chainmail by half the amount of cookies they have at any one time during that day. This is to be tracked in the GNDT under the column chainmail.

Give 10 chainmail to the Dragonmaster for each person who votes FOR this proposal!

Ahoy Hoy

Holy crap!

My name’s still on the sidebar somewhere.  Good to see Blognomic doesn’t purge players for excessive inactivity.  Heck, it’s good to see the game still active.

Oh, unidle me, if you’d be so kind.

Proposal: And I want Cookies too!

Exceeds quorum at 10-0 Dragonmaster gains 300 cookies. Oze

Adminned at 21 Sep 2008 13:16:22 UTC

Create a new rule “Cookies”:

Each Breeder has an non-negative integer amount of Cookies which is tracked in the GNDT under column Cookies. As a weekly action, if a Breeder has less than 30 Cookies, that Breeder may set their Cookies to 30.

Give 30 Cookies to the Dragonmaster for each player who voted FOR in this proposal.

Cookies are currency, but I also plan then to be used directly as Health recovery for Dragons on a 1 for 1 basis.

Proposal: I want a purple Dragon

Reaches quorum at 9-0 Oze

Adminned at 21 Sep 2008 13:04:05 UTC

Create a new Rule named “Dragons”:

All Breeders are entitled to owning at least one Dragon. If at any time a Breeder has no Dragon, e may adopt one by naming it and choosing color for it. Once a Breeder has a Dragon, it’s Name and Color shall be recorded in the GNDT by its owner’s name (under Columns “Name” and “Color” respectively). A newly adopted Dragon cannot be named after any existing Dragon, Breeder or Dragonmaster. The color of a Dragon can be any of the ones defined as a sub-rule to the rule, “Colors”. The newly adopted Dragon becomes the Breeder’s active Dragon.

Create a new Rule named “Colors” with no text.

I’d like to get feedback on this before actually proposing any colors or color-related abilities. Also you might notice this rule is worded in such a way to allow having more than 1 Dragon per Breeder in the future, while allowing each Breeder just 1 active. Also I’ll leave stats for another proposal (Power and Defense, maybe?).

Ascension Address: Time to fly

Hear ye hear ye. This years brood of dragon eggs have finally hatched. The time has come once again to see who can raise the best dragon and earn the title of Dragonmaster for the coming year. Claim a hatchling to raise and prepare. Let the battle for the title… BEGIN!

Repeal all dynastic rules except “G-Man”, clear the GNDT of all stats other then names and replace the terms President Thog with Dragonmaster and Candidate with Breeder.

While its kinda late for me I don’t see why I can’t start things for the rest of you.

Story Post: Pre-Dynasty round table chat

Ok guys, I figured before I start my dynasty I’d pass on what I want to do and what you guys think will help out. I want to base things off of the gameplay in the old moster rancher games on playstation, with just dragons. I was also thinking to have a tournament after a set time to find our next winner. The green background color has caused me some trouble with finding my mouse, with it always changing to type icon lol. I’d change that, the header and the veto icon but.. um… I have no clue how. Anything dragon theme would be cool.

Proposal: On an unrelated topic

quorum vs 1 = passed- Darknight

Adminned at 18 Sep 2008 00:23:49 UTC

On a previous, but recent, dynasty we had a similar issue than the one we had on this one, people using DoVs to stall the game, sometimes to gain an edge, sometimes just for the heck of it. On a previous dynasty we decided that the problem was not so serious, but now we are seeing it happen it again. I am against bannings and restricting users, but perhaps there should be a small cooldown after a failed DoV to prevent people from pulling out this trick too often and making us resort to constant CfJ to fix it.  Thus, I propose:

Add the following text after the last sentence of Core Rule, “1.9 Victory and Ascension”:

When a DoV is failed, if it has a number of AGAINST votes that exceed Quorum, the ‘’‘Candidate’‘’ who posted it cannot make another DoV until after 120 hours (5 days) have passed since the time their DoV was failed.

Hopefully Darknight will allow this Proposal to continue on into his Dynasty. Also, just to make my position clear: I do not wish to penalize players for making a failed DoV but rather allowing a 5 day window for needed proposals or legit DoVs to take place before one is allowed to repost a DoV and mess with timings and stall important proposals.

Call for Judgment: Undoing what Qapmoc did

Fails 6-4 during Hiatus—arthexis

Adminned at 16 Sep 2008 15:19:01 UTC

Qapmoc’s current agendas put the entire of blognomic at risk if he wins. If Qapmoc was to win this dynasty, the time it would take to pass a CfJ will be too long to undo his agendas.

Thus to prevent these agendas from ever happening:

If this CfJ passes remove all of Qapmoc’s entries from the Candidate Agendas page.

Add to the end of rule 2.8:

Qapmoc may not post Good Intentions.

Proposal: Last minute agenda?

to read:

When a Candidate posts BS, if the date is before 1-10-2008 and that statement starts with ‘When I’m elected,’ all the text after it in that comment becomes added to the ‘Candidate Agendas’ document.

Proposal: No business like showbusiness

S/K- Darknight

Adminned at 10 Sep 2008 14:49:04 UTC

Create a new dynastic rule with the title “Polit-Showbusiness” and the content

Within the month of September, each Candidate may, as a weekly action, take part in one Polit-Show, either as Host or as Contestant.

Only a Candidate who is not in debt and did not take part in a Polit-Show this week can become the Host of the new Polit-Show. To do this, they must make a post to the blog with the title “Polit-Show about TOPIC” and a statement of at most 75 words beginning with “It is now time for a Polit-Show about TOPIC because”, with TOPIC being a topic of their choice.

Polit-Shows are either In Preparation, Open For Voting, or Ended. A Polit-Show becomes In Preparation immediately after the blog post of its Host.

While the Polit-Show is In Preparation, any other Candidate who did not take part in a Polit-Show this week can become a Contestant of this Polit-Show by replying to the blog post with a statement of at most 125 words.

Exactly 48 hours after the original blog post, the Polit-Show switches to Ended if there are less than two Contestants, and the host loses 25 Money and a quarter of their own Supporters. Otherwise it switches to Open For Voting, and the Host gains Money equals to 10 times the number of Contestants.

While the Polit-Show is Open For Voting, any Candidate who does not take part in it may vote on it by replying to the blog post with the statement containing only the name of one of the Contestants. If a Candidate does so multiple times while the Polit-Show is Open For Voting, only the last vote of this Candidate counts.

Exactly 96 hours after the original blog post, a Polit-Show that was Open For Voting becomes Ended, and there immediately is a Vote Count. Each Contestants gets as much Show Votes as sum of the Supporters of the Candidates voting for them.

If there is a Vote Count on this Polit-Show, 200 Supporters are distributed in equal shares (rounded down) to the Winners of the Polit-Show, and the Vote Count ends. The Show Vote Sum is the sum of the Show Votes of all Contestants. If a Contestant’s Show Votes are at least 60 percent of the Show Vote Sum, they are the sole winner, otherwise each Contestant who got at least two thirds as much Show Votes as the Contestant with the most Show Votes is a Winner.

The BS shall return

Can anyone restore the Blognomic Statement posting to the main page?

EDIT by arth: This link can take you to the News Post.

Proposal: Can you tell I’m angry?

S/K’d.  Oze

Adminned at 09 Sep 2008 13:18:35 UTC

Set all Candidates who have less than 100 Supporters, except those who have been fundraising between the posting and the passage of this proposal, to having 100 Supporters.

Set Qapmoc to having 100 Supporters. Set Qapmoc to having 10 Money.

If Ambi Valent then has the most Supporters of all Candidates, set Ambi Valent to having as much Supporters as the Candidate with the second most Supporters of all Candidates, minus one.

(Seriously, I can understand trying to break one dynasty to be able to rule over the next - and I don’t like the current one very much - but trying to break the entire game isn’t funny)

Proposal: The Big Red Buttom

Illegal Proposal—arthexis

Adminned at 08 Sep 2008 11:40:15 UTC

Add the following to the rule “Calls for Judgment”

A Calls for Judgment is never out of order and may always be posted, regardless of what any other rule says.

Granted someone could put in a rule that says “a CfJ may never be posted, regardless of what any other rule says, but then there would be a disagreement and we would need to post a CfJ to resolve it. Granted there are other ways of totally breaking the game, so maybe we could just have a “big red button” rule that resets the game to a ruleset we know isn’t broken, but I’m afraid people would try and use that way too often. Considering once is too often.

Declaration of Victory: It’s always worth a try, a DoV by Qapmoc

DoV fails, Hiatus ends—arthexis

Adminned at 09 Sep 2008 08:49:38 UTC

Now this isn’t going to be your run-of-the-mill DoV, it’s going to be a good one. One where I will try to convince you to declare me the winner even though I have in no sense of the current ruleset won.

My DoV comes down to two main focus points;

1) The rules for this dynasty haven’t been adhered to, I have seen people incorrectly gaining money on the GDNT (on more than one occasion) and gaining additional supporters through illegitimate BSs (breaking the once a day rule). Therefore as the rules have been broken, they are broken and they declare me the winner.

2) The agendas will create new rules which will be the building blocks of our next dynasty. These as we now these are listed on the Candidate agendas page (Hyperlink on right). If you look at what my agendas are, you will see that if I’m declared the winner, Blognomic will go into a contradicting meltdown (which I will stop after a day as I like this game to much to spoil it), and I just want to see it happen for a day.

So there are my reasons to be declared victorious. Sorry to have put the game into hiatus.

Add the following text to Rule entitled “Agendas” by inserting it immediately after the first paragraph:

If e does, that comment isn’t BS. Then, within a period of 24 hours, any Candidate that endorses the Candidate who performed this action may add 1DICE6 to their own Supporters once.

Any pending Proposal may be failed by any Admin, if any of the following are true:-

  * The Candidate who proposed it has voted AGAINST it.
  * The President Thog has voted to VETO it.

(Currently, if I make 2 proposals with tiny errors, I can self-kill the proposals right now, but I’m still blocked from making new proposals for about 2 days, until all proposals before mine were officially enacted or failed)

Proposal: Conventions, I need some clarity

Passes 9 to 1—arthexis

Adminned at 07 Sep 2008 19:17:49 UTC

The Clock on the right of this page, the Game Clock, as well as the GNDT utilise the date as dd/mm/yy whereas all current dynastic rules utilise mm/dd/yy. Using the current ruleset, a winner could be announced this time next week.

Add to rule 3.2 “Timespans” the following:

Calendar Dates shall be represented in dd/mm/yy (day/month/year) format.

Replace the first paragraph of Rule 2.3 “Campaigning” with:

Any action allowed by a sub-rule of this rule is considered a Campaign Action. Each Candidate has a statistic “Action” which is the date and time (date time) that the last Campaign action was taken by that player. This statistic is tracked in the GDNT and updated any time a Candidate performs a campaign action.

If the Proposal titled “It went so fast” Passed, Replace the first paragraph of Rule 2.6 “Debates” with:

Prior to the Election, there are eight debates which occur for candidates to gain support in. Debates are numbered in order of their occurrence, starting at 1 and ending at eight. Debates are either Upcoming, Active or Finished. All Debates start as Upcoming. Each debate has a length, a venue, an issue, a start date and an entry cost. The length of a debate is equal to 30 times the number of the debate. The venue of the debate is equal to number of active candidates at the start of the debate times the five times of the number of the debate. The entry cost is equal to twice the number of the debate. Start dates are as follows: Debate 1: Start Date: 8-8-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT. Debate 2: Start Date: 15-8-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT. Debate 3: Start Date: 23-8-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT. Debate 4: Start Date: 30-8-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT. Debate 5: Start Date: 6-9-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT. Debate 6: Start Date: 13-9-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT.

If the Proposal titled “It went so fast” Failed, Replace the first paragraph of Rule 2.6 “Debates” with:

Debate 4: Start Date: 30-8-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT. Debate 5: Start Date: 6-9-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT. Debate 6: Start Date: 13-9-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT. Debate 7: Start Date: 20-9-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT. Debate 8: Start Date: 27-9-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT.

If the Proposal titled “It went so fast” Passed, Replace the final line of Rule 2.2 “Election” with:

On or after the date 20-9-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT the Candidate with the highest Total Support who is not in debt, provided there are no active debates, has achieved victory.

If the Proposal titled “It went so fast” Failed, Replace the final line of Rule 2.2 “Election” with:

On or after the date 4-10-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT the Candidate with the highest Total Support who is not in debt, provided there are no active debates, has achieved victory.

Set each Candidates Action to the date and time which this proposal passes.

Qapmoc receives no Supporters from this Proposal passing.

Add to rule 2.5 “Public Image” the following:

Whenever a Proposal passes, any Candidate who voted FOR on that Proposal may once, within 24 hours, add one Supporter to their own Supporters. Whenever a Proposal fails, any Candidate who voted AGAINST on that Proposal may once, within 24 hours, add one Supporter to their own Supporters.

Create a new sub-rule, “Free T-Shirts” under rule “Campaigning”:

If a Candidate has not given out Free T-Shirts within the last 48 hours, the Candidate may give out Free T-Shirts by paying 15 Money and making a comment of ‘Free T-Shirts!’ at the News Post. If e does, this comment does not count as BS. Then, within a period of 24 hours, any Candidate that endorses the Candidate who performed this action may add 1DICE6 to their Supporters once.

Proposal: It went so fast

Failed 2-5. Darknight

In rule 2.2 (“Election”) replace “10-4-2008” by “9-20-2008”.

In rule 2.6 (“Debates”) remove “Debate 7: Start Date: 9-20-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT. Debate 8: Start Date: 9-27-2008 at 00:00:00 GMT.”

Proposal: The Unwashed Masses

Self-killed—Rodlen

Adminned at 06 Sep 2008 11:29:38 UTC

Create a new rule, “Vox Populi”:

There exists an entity in the GNDT known as “The Unwashed”, which counts as a Candidate but cannot perform any actions other than those described by this rule. When a rule calls for The Unwashed to take an action, any Admin may carry on that action on its behalf, as long as the action is never performed more than once within its specified timeframe. No Candidate may endorse The Unwashed. (If The Unwashed somehow wins this Dynasty, then we did something terribly wrong.)

Create a sub-rule, “Ad Pandering” to rule “Campaigning”,

If a Candidate has not performed a Campaign Action within the last 24 hours, the Candidate may perform an Ad Pandering action by paying X Money and rolling 1DICE100 in the GNDT. If the result is equal to or larger than X, that Candidate sets The Unwashed to Endorse the Candidate of er choice.

Set the Supporters of The Unwashed to 10DICE100, and it’s Money to half that amount. Number all Candidates who are being Endorsed by more than one Candidate, starting from 1. Then, Roll 1DICEN in a GDNT comment, where N is the total of Candidates numbered this way. The Unwashed endorses the Candidate whose number comes up in the roll.

Story Post: Throwing my hat in.

Blognomic needs a decisive leader. I believe that only one person could possibly hold such decisiveness.

I don’t quite know who he is though.

Proposal: Endorsements are important

Self-killed—Rodlen

Adminned at 05 Sep 2008 19:11:34 UTC

Create a new subrule of rule 2.2 with the title “Weekly Realignment” and the content

A Major Candidate is a Candidate who is currently Endorsed by themselves and at least one other Candidate. All other Candidates are Minor Candidates.

At the end of each week, each Minor Candidate loses an amount of Supporters equal a quarter of eir Supporters. If e Endorses a Major Candidate at this point of time, this Major Candidate gains this amount of Supporters.

(This should serve as an incentive to either try to gain Endorsements to win or find someone to Endorse someone else who’s trying to win)

Email notification system I smite thee

I set it to tell me when a new Dynasty begins. I check back and it has and I wasn’t notified.

Story Post: Debate resolution (#4)

1) The debate should not focus on the past and on opening long healed wounds like between Pirates and Ninjas, instead we should talk about what we would actually do. As President, I would lead you to a number of islands which we would settle peacefully side by side, and the one most qualified in doing this should become my successor.

2) My fellow nomicians, if elected I promise to make rules that are easy to understand. We have had too many rules that made no sense. Just look back to the pirate vs ninja dynasty and how that was won. By using a poorly written rule. I vow to make rules that make sense and will help make the game fun.

3) Let me answer that metaphorically will a riddle. You are in a room, filling with poisonous gas. There are 2 doors - one leads to eternal happiness, the other to a lava pit full of red hot lava. In the room with you are two robots. One of these robots always tells the truth, the other always tells lies. What would you ask so you get lead through the door to happiness so you can come back to blognomic? You only have one question.

Proposal: You gotta walk and talk even if you can’t chalk the balk

Passed at 6-0. Oze

Adminned at 05 Sep 2008 12:08:41 UTC

Create a new rule ‘Agendas’:

There exists a wiki-document called ‘Candidate Agendas’. When a Candidate posts BS, if that statement starts with ‘When I’m elected,’ all the text after it in that comment becomes added to the ‘Candidate Agendas’ document. This text is known as a BS Promise (or just Good Intentions). Good Intentions within the document shall be grouped by the name of the candidate that made them, and numbered starting from 1 for each Candidate. This rule cannot not be repealed during an Ascension Address. The ‘Candidate Agendas’ document may not be modified in any way other than those included by this rule.

When a Candidate achieves victory (after hiatus ends), create a new rule called ‘Dynastic Agenda’ with the text, “This rule and its sub-rules may only be repealed through a successful proposal or Call for Judgment”. Under that rule, for each BS Promise listed for the new President Thog, create a new sub-rule named ‘Item N’ where N is the number of the BS Promise, and that BS Promises’ text becomes the new sub-rules text. Afterwards, if a rule called Agendas exist, repeal it.

If the ‘Candidate Agendas’ wiki-document already exists, blank it.
