I think this should be a subrule, or a Treaty itself, rather than cluttering the parent rule with things that aren’t related to the pure nomic aspects of the Treaty system.

I love this idea, but I’m mostly thinking about how to define “word” in this situation, and who’s going to do the work to keep track of the counts in question. Is “previously-not-assigned” one word or three? Are “2DICE5” or “100” words at all? Does flavor text affect the count, or would those words count as “statements that flavour text makes about gamestate?”

It looks like the Signatory list itself counts as words.

@Brendan all great questions, if only we had someone around who’d thought deeply about counting words in the process of making, say, daily 100-word stories for several years, who could propose an amendment clarifying these issues

Perhaps someone who also has a simple, unambiguous tool on their website where you can paste text into a box and it gives back a word count.

In seriousness, I will happily offer the use of xorph.com/wordcount if this becomes popular, but because I the concept so much I am also going to propose an alternative take.
