In the Rule entitled “Occupationsâ€, replace the text
If a Villager is dead, their Occupation while alive is still listed in the GNDT, but is considered to be “Cadaver†for all other purposes.
with
If a Villager besides the Mayor is dead, their Occupation while alive is still listed in the GNDT, but is considered to be “Cadaver†for all other purposes.
A bit redundant, but it clarifies the contradiction with “The Mayor’s Occupation is always ‘Mayor’” earlier in the same rule.
Isn’t “The Mayor’s Occupation is always the Mayor” a tautology, though? Unless you want to say that there is a role “Mayor” that the ruleset refers to and an Occupation “Mayor” that the GNDT refers to, and that except in this rule there’s never any equation between them.
Erg… I think I knew what I meant when I began that sentence…
Yes, it’s redundant for rules that say “The Mayor may do X”, but useful for defining what my Occupation actually is.
We should maybe watch for scams that allow people to take on any Occupation, actually, because a clever scammer could make themselves Mayor…
