A less destructive option would be to immediately enact Basement Bandwagon. If it passed right now, the only Floormates would be Chiika/Cuddles and Brendan/Clucky.

Oh and Tara/Jumble, but only because they chose to go to the same floor.

I quite like the forced cooperation it brings. Once we spread out a bit and add incentives for various floors, it should make deciding what you want to do / how you want to vote a much more strategic decision of balancing direct progress and retaining your ability to vote freely. It just maybe wasn’t a great idea to enact it with us so close together.

To be clear, I have zero interest in a “less destructive option.” If that’s your preference, I suggest raising a second CfJ and seeing if you can get it to pass within 48 hours.

It isn’t urgent, the game *can* continue without this passing, and there’s no disagreement about what the rules mean, so I really think this should have been a proposal

There have been many messages, it is true, but they’re largely speculative. And CFJs exist precisely to settle disputes over interpretation. If the problem is a dispute over interpretation, then that should be the substance of the CFJ. If the problem is a badly written rule, then why not amend rather than repeal?

Unless no admins are willing to process the proposals, I wouldn’t call this urgent.
