Proposal: A Long Chalk
Self-killed. Failed by Kevan.

To “Transformation”, add a paragraph:-
Trapped within a rough chalk circle, the Adventurer named TyGuy6 may not use the effects of Hidden Monstrosities.
Undo the Battle Action of the Adventurer named TyGuy6 (completed at 20:25:21 UTC on 3 December 2019), and all subsequent Battle Actions (if any exist) within that Battle.
Since we have a potential four days of timeout before the next Monster action and the CfJs are perhaps going to focus on rule interpretation rather than urgent changes or fairness against past battles, I’ll just trundle this forward as a straight thematic rule amendment, no judgment on past action legality required.

Four days? How? And aren’t the other CfJs ready to be closed right now?
Also, undoing a Battle Action doesn’t reset the clock, and anyone might find the Monster Distracted if enough time passes (which is less than 24 hours from now); do we just rely on our colleagues not to do that?

Unless I’ve misread it, if all three Humans declined to perform Battle Actions, it would take 108 hours - four and a half days - for them all to time out. Plenty of time for a proposal to go through.

It’s not automatic, though, is it? If TyGuy’s action was (theoretically) legal, then the next Vanguard remains Vanguard until someone goes to the trouble of finding them Weary and replacing them (the next Vanguard somehow needs to be selected, after all, even if it’s just by having someone roll a dice).

Sure, it’s just 108 hours minimum.

Well, TyGuy is as if he hasn’t taken his turn yet… If everyone else waits until we’re all ready for the Battle to continue, and nobody finds him Distracted tomorrow (or later on) for not having taken a Battle Action within 48 hours, then there’s no reason we cannot just pick up from were we left off (whenever we decide to do so), without counting hours.
Unless I’m missing something; this discussion of timeouts caught me by surprise, to be honest.
