I would just like to say that this does not strictly follow the poetic rules of higgledy piggledy (there is not a line in the second stanza taken up by a single word), but the decision lies solely with the Overlord as to the fate of this piece.

Actually scratch that re-write. If you learn anything from blognomic it’s not to listen to that voice in your head telling you to become a poet. Although i have also learnt exactly what a higgldy-piggldy poem is (or in this case, what it isn’t).

It’s a pretty good attempt, to say the least.

No doubt. I still don’t “get” the form myself. Good show.

It’s a tough form with a lot of strict rules to follow.
