If the proposal “Don’t be silly.” fails, this proposal does nothing.
Add a new rule, A Noisy Noise Annoys An Oyster Most:
If a Survivor is Insane then, as a Daily Action, they may Annoy one other Survivor. When a Survivor is Annoyed, their Sanity level is reduced by 1.
Amend the rule “Cabin Fever” replacing:
All other Survivors are Sane.
with
Any Survivor with a Sanity level of six or more is Sane
I think that the Insane Survivors should be able to spread a little madness around, and it means being insane isn’t all bad. The amendment to the rule Cabin Fever is to allow more than one Survivor to be Insane at any one time.
I don’t think it’s a grind. Grind mechanics are a problem when they’re available to everyone, and there’s no reason not to take the action as frequently as possible (giving an edge to the players who check in every day), but this is limited to a (presumably small) subset of players, and has the built-in drawback that you probably will annoy the player you choose to target, and it’s likely we’ll have to retaliatory measures they can employ against you, before too long.
I think somehow a dynasty obssessed with the mystery of the sinining of the Haniver would be fun. I do not like numbers at the moment too much. But that may change
