Create a new rule “That Pesky Slime” as a subrule of “Creatures”:
That Pesky Slime’s stats are: Strength-1 Dexterity-15 Constitution-1. Its loot is a Malleable Material, a Malleable Material, and a Malleable Material. It’s Health is 25. After an Orc deals damage to this creature, as long as this creature isn’t dead, create a copy of this rule as a subrule of “Creatures”.
Create a new rule “Malleable Material” as a subrule of “Items”:
Affect: An Orc who holds a Malleable Material may cease holding it to gain 4 resources.
Comments: Back when we were more lacking in creatures, I put this rule together and forgot to post it. I’ve ended up making a couple changes since then, but it still seems fitting. If this passes, we’ll have a source of resources other than the normal action. (No one seems to want to use that action yet.) The quantity of the resources given might be a little high, but given that it only takes 1 ap to obtain resources without risk, I figured it would be good incentive. In addition, the resources probably going to be split up considerably, as who wounded the slime stays when the rule is copied.

Seems like it’ll grow out of control too fast (5 damage per hit on average would mean we get 16 of them at the end, so around 200 total resources)

Larrytheturtle:
The average damage is higher than that? Five would be average if everyone had 0 for their strength. As is the average damage an Orc deals ranges from 11-7 with kevan at the top and me at the bottom. That makes 9 the average overall meaning 4 slimes total.
IceFromHell:
Unless someone can one-shot them, the slimes are infinite, aren’t they?
Or am I reading this wrong?
I mean, the rule of a new slime is a copy of this rule, so every new slime also replicates into more slimes.
GenericPerson:
The rule is an exact duplicate that occurs after damage is done. Here’s an example: Someone deals the initial slime 9 damage, and the slime now has 16 hp as a result. Since it isn’t dead, the duplication occurs. After the duplication, we’ve got two 16 hp slimes. As such, you don’t need to one shot them.
It creates a duplicate of the rule, but what we have here is a proposal. This wouldn’t be used a the source for duplication.
That’s how I see it working anyway, so you can correct me if I’m wrong.
I suppose 4 resources might have been a bit much though. Would 3 have been more acceptable?
IceFromHell:
Ah, I see, the damage step is taken before the duplication.
But on another note, someone who attacks the first slime will have their name on the “wounded by” of all the slimes and potentially get a lot of loot, so
