Proposal: A Predecessors like None Other

Append to the end of the Rule “Restoration of the Hours”,

A player may not name themself as a Predecessor.

To prevent an abuse of Restoration of Hours of trivial things one has done, which then could have its Moment instantly vouched.

Doesn’t seem much of an abuse (you could just name any other vouched-for Player instead), but it does seem a bit uninteresting.

against I don’t think this does what it’s supposed to; if I include a sentence that describes myself and, say, Elias IX, this means I don’t count as having named myself and can award myself Quartz.

It’s a slightly odd way to phrase it, but I think it works: the rule already talks about “naming” a Predecessor in a Story Post sentence.
