If the ruleset contains the text

A Driver’s Routes are listed in order in their GNDT column ‘Routes’, with each Route represented by the first letter of its name and an optional punctuation mark.

replace it with

A Driver’s Routes are listed in order in their GNDT column ‘Routes’, with each Route represented by the first two letters of its name and and optionally one or more punctuation marks.

After the text “Each Route must be of a kind detailed in a subrule to this rule. ” in the rule “Routes”

The subrules must be ordered alphabetically by name.

Reorder the subrules of Routes to be sorted alphabetically be name.

The letter restriction already was a problem with waning a “Fake Sick” and “Flying” route. Its only going to get worse.

The one or more puncuation markers I think will create more flexibility as well.

The sorting is just a nice semanic thing for coming up with new routes.

for Sorting is also nice since scouting via luck gives you the Kth route alphabetically.

Everything else here is good, but doubling the width of the GNDT field just to save us from having to occasionally think up a different word beginning with “F” seems a bit much.

Route lists are already too long to view in the GNDT if they are bigger than the starting list so its already a pproblem. I don’t think this would make it *that* much worse. (Although I guess there is nothing that enforces you list your route as DoDoDoAiAi instead of DODODOAIAI which might be a little confusing)

[Clucky] Currently the longest pool takes up about half the GNDT sidebar box (I assume by “too long to view” you mean “too long to view all GNDT variables and name in one go”?) - you can see a player’s pool and cash, and a truncated version of their name. Making the pools even longer will just truncate the name even more.

Ah. Well, if you scroll it to the right you can still work out who “hadowclaw” and “pointingchariot” are - if we make all the route fields a third longer, we’ll start losing the centred shorter names entirely.

I’m as much in favour of the constraint of trying to use up the entire alphabet, as being against stretching the GNDT, anyway. Game design thrives on constraints.
