Technically you should not be safe unless your production did not include any of your Subsidiaries because your Subsidiaries could just destroy all their factories. reducing is in the original intended spirit of the rule.

Are you saying if I’d “talked to you” before you Advanced Time (which I didn’t know you were going to do), you wouldn’t have pulled the scam?  I find that difficult to believe.

Maybe I’ve missed a clause in all this, but I was under the impression that a scammer could do the “you decided to build ten thousand factories overnight” thing to anyone who had accidentally illegal production values, irrespective of subsidiaries.
