Proposal: accidental deletions

Self-killed. Failed by card.

Adminned at 27 Jun 2017 04:54:52 UTC

Add to “Artefacts”:

The Expedition Leader may resolve deleted inspection posts by including a direct link to the twitter post that announced that post was in and including the resolution of that inspection in a “Rebunked” post.
The resolution of Inspections use the number of Artefacts that the inspectee had at the time of the inspection post.

I remisread the rules because it was late at night and thought that nobody had any artefacts after posting the inspections.
Currently inspections can’t be resolved because I made a bunch of inspections and then deleted them but not before the twitter got them https://twitter.com/blognomic

Shrug.

Seeing how messy this is getting I would’ve preferred the interpretation that deleted stuff is gone forever with no effect anywhere but oh well lol.

Also, I don’t have any evidence that you haven’t made and deleted proposals before this one so I don’t know if this is a legal proposal! aaaaAAAAHHHHHHHHH

but I’ll put a voting symbol anyway: imperial

Well that’s silly, you could look on the twitter/rss to see, however it anyone made a proposal and deleted it in a short time then there would be no way of telling.
This is in fact the only proposal I’ve made in the past few days.

>then there would be no way of telling.

EXACTLY! Muohohohooo. Although the same applies to my own proposals lol (and everyone else’s).

(It could be fixed with a CFJ though, but the tough part would be to write/find a good enough solution)

The Expedition Leader has no way of confirming which player made them, though. And it doesn’t seem to be exhaustive - the recent blog entry “Story Post: Inspecting Pokes” (which is still there) doesn’t appear in the Twitter feed.

against Also a bit weird that this encourages us to delete our own Inspections to reduce the chance of our target noticing before it’s processed.

@Kevan: Does anyone have a way to check it? Maybe its still saved somewhere?

against oh true. However you still maintained that the deleted inspections count and can’t be resolved because they can’t be commented on. Maybe a case basis for those specific posts would be good enough?

[Cuddlebeam] I think admins can check previous versions of posts, but can’t see any trace of deleted ones.
