In the rule “Richardo’s Journey”, add the following two bullet points to the bulleted list, with the first point added to the start of the list, and the second point added to the end:
- Each Vampire Lord with less than 8 Puissance gains 1 Puissance.
- Make a Story Post explaining which rooms Richardo entered during this Atomic Action, and what effects were applied as a consequence.
We need incentives to actually do something in terms of dynastic actions, or else “hang onto your Puissance, and wait and see what happens” will be the optimal strategy.
Adding a low level of Puissance regeneration (that only affects people who are actually spending it) will make it safer for people to experiment and do things, without risking being locked out from the game when more important uses for a currently rare resource get added later. Trying to add this via dynastic mechanics would mean that one player would have to take a huge hit in order to make the dynasty more fun for everyone else, so it makes more sense to add it by proposal.
While we’re here, let’s ensure that the main activity of the dynasty (Entering the Crypt) actually has visible effects, otherwise it’ll be hard to track what’s going on, and people may think that the dynasty’s inactive due to lack of action on the blog.

I really wish the resource increase happened at the start of the Journey instead of the end, we already have one mechanic that increases resources during the journey and while this rewards strategic spending it has a level of randomness which unsettles me.
