If the rule “Mortals” describes mortals as having Status (one of “Child”, “Adult”, or “Dead”) and Spouse (blank or the name of another Mortal), add a sub-rule to the “Mortals” rule with the text
A mortal with a status of “Child” must have the Spouse blank.
Good point, Kevan. Forget about the Age of Consent. Right now there may be no consent at all: nothing says Spouses should be mutual. To Brendan’s Proposal! =P

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
