Since the scanning system is currently at severity ‘none’ and so isn’t at danger of becoming catastrophic, wouldn’t the most of reasonable move for a human be to simply not attend the mission?
I think so. Under the current rules, I don’t see why any Human would ever attend a mission. What about sabotaging it and losing trust? This seems to be even better for any human than not attending the mission.
because humans get a huge benefit from sabotaging a mission vs just failing to attend a mission.
It seems to me that a crewmember only loses clearance for unattended missions as they are the only one’s said to be “failed”, while sabotaging would lead to no change in clearance just change in system severity
Put’s right…
I think this warrants a Proposal fix. Humans gain a huge advantage from failing missions, which requires no skill and can only be done if they are assigned to a Mission, which is determined by chance. Likewise, Androids gain a huge advantage from not being on failed missions, also determined by chance. With no other rules determining a path to victory, the current ruleset is a game of complete RNG, like the card game War.
For now, I recommend Brendan to do a roster comment to prevent anyone from losing clearance as a result of this mission that I forecast will fail (somehow I don’t think Put knows much about heat sensors)
Ah. That is actually a good point. Roster comment: Bucky, Skju, Josh.
Bucky, Skju and Josh complete the Mission, with a Command Quorum of support. No Clearance changes, and all three are Wearied.
Kevan: he/him
Sphinx, Put, Skju are the default responders.
