Headcannon: the Mayor of Josh sets out on foot to rendezvous with the city, but the promise of a meeting was a rumour to which the City itself was never a party, so while trying to flag it down he got crushed under its vast treads.

for I think Anointments might be technically orphaned (the CfJ having had no effect?), but if there’s a quorum generally behind a CfJ to assign victory, that’s academic.

Lendun did suggest that in the discord, but the moment of the award of an anoitnment being tracked in blog posts and comments is sufficient to avoid orphaning, in my opinion.

Being awarded by blog posts, sure, but a CfJ to set it directly seems like it’s lacking a handhold on any gamestate.
