Enact a new rule, “Dimensions”:-

The Dark One has a single Dimension, being one of the past dynasties of BlogNomic. The Dark One’s Dimension is privately tracked by them, and defaults to The Seventh Dynasty of Brendan.

If the Dark One’s Dimension is The Seventh Dynasty of Brendan, they may change their Dimension to any valid value.

Trying an echo of the dynasties-as-gamestate mechanic from Brendan’s previous dynasty, having the Dark One hiding or gathering power or something in past dynasties, perhaps building up to the Mortals trying to hunt them down.

Oh, I should think so. I wasn’t thinking of going full-on Josh VI and having players “travelling” into dynasties and being bound by their rules, just using the historical record as a resource, the same way that Brendan VII had players combing the game history in order to score individual dynasties.

Perhaps Brendan has to trace a route through past dynasties, broadcasting clues (maybe each Dark Soul becomes a player-class from a past dynasty), and the Mortals can win if they trace enough of the path.
