In “Atomic Actions”, amend:
and they may not take any other action defined in the Ruleset until all such steps are complete
to:
and they may not take any other dynastic action until all such steps are complete
From Kevin’s suggestion. I didn’t address Cuddlebeam’s current stats as I’m not sure what to think of it.
this allows people to take non-dynastic actions in between atomic action steps, some of which could be voting, proposing etc that I just don’t think should have the opportunity of happening
They must “performs its steps as quickly as they are able” so they can’t really stop to write a proposal or even vote. In general they won’t have time to do other actions, but if for some reason they get blocked they should be able to post a CfJ for example, which is one of the reasons for the change.
(I admit ““as quickly as they are able” is a bit up to interpretation but I would say that as long as you can continue the action you shouldn’t be able to do anything else)
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
