Add a rule entitled “Gold” to the ruleset, with the following text:
Each Protagonist has a certain number of Gold Pieces, or GP for short. This is tracked in the GNDT column named GP. New Protagonists start off with 0 Gold Pieces.
Add a GNDT column entitled GP.
Set each Protagonist’s GP to 0.
CoV. I’d like some other element, like perhaps helium, or arsenic.
I’d prefer the more abstract ‘points’, since not every thread is going to be easy to work Gold into.
How many text adventures actually contain currencies? I like the usage of Points as well. I vote .
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.

I think currency is too easy - it’d be more fun, I think, to come up with a system that doesn’t involve currency like GP.
