Proposal: Avoiding paradoxes

Before the last paragraph of the sub-rule entitled Chronotohms, add the following as a new paragraph:

If a random process results in a Time Monk having a lost Dynasty as their Occupied Dynasty, then they may change their Dynasty again, using the same random process.

against This encourages players to tactically update the UTD in order to maximise their odds of landing in their desired dynasty. For example, with the current UTD one could easily engineer a 10-dynasty window of which only one is not lost and be guaranteed to land there.

Good point, but that means that there’s a problem with the definition of Lost Dynasties.
