New players can randomly win out of the gate already if they get dealt Agendas which happen to overlap with the current gamestate positions that we’ve spent time and resources setting up. I don’t think they need this additional help.

And the old players had the same chance to randomly win, except with time and resources to set things up too. We can’t do anything about the time, but we can at least fill in the resources.

This proposal should additionally compensate for the components not gained from Time’s Passage, but didn’t have the character count to do that properly.

I know you and I have different thoughts on whether a player should be able to join in the final act of a dynasty and stand a good chance of winning it solo through conventional play.

I think the secret and undoubtedly overlapping Agendas of this dynasty make that too murky, though. That as a voter I’ve got no idea what the odds actually are of a new player being able to win within a day of joining, even without six free resources, and don’t really want to test our luck on it.

i tried to remove agendas which could easily happen by complete accident during Initialisation. if someone goes through the trouble of reading the dynastic rules and boldly jumps into the game late, they should have a shot — i think this evens the odds without making it too easy for them :0
