If Proposal: Architecture and Immorality and Proposal: Energizer Bunny were not enacted then this proposal has no effect.

Add the following to the end of the list in the rule Features:

* Richardo von Nestor gains n Energy (-[n-1])
* Richardo von Nestor becomes Blessed (-3)

Add the following to the end of the atomic action in the rule Richardo’s Journey:

* Make a post to the blog describing Richardo’s Enter the Crypt action, detailing which rooms were entered and how the effects of those rooms were enacted upon him.

Where is the direction specified, for the Sigil of Warding?

Calling it a “Sigil” also causes problems with the other Sigils: specifically when Richardo encounters it you’re required to record an asterisk “next to the Vampire Lord’s name”, where there is no name.

“Gains N Energy” would make it a bit too tempting for everyone to spam the Crypt with 10 1-Puissance rooms that did anything they liked - with the main cost that it could take you ages to finish processing an Crypt Entry, if Richardo was stumbling around a “gain 14 Energy” section of the map.

And hmm, does “can not leave” still expend the Energy, or block the random selection? If it’s the latter, a long corridor with a “can’t back go the way you came” sigil at the end will make the Crypt Entry action unfinishable.

Sigil of Warding could just become four different unnamed Features of “if Richard would try to move north from here, nothing happens”, “if Richard would try to move east…”, each costing +2 (making it more expensive to drain his Energy by completely blocking in a room than by just setting up a good old fashioned Grievous Injury).

Hm, he could also get trapped by entering a room with four blocks - I might just pull that bit and rework it.

against Being able to reduce all build costs to 1 Puissance with “Richardo moves around for longer, possibly hundreds of times” as the only downside still seems like a bad idea.

against yeah like I said in energizer bunny we need to be careful about allowing infinite loops. Make N high enough or manage to get some “Richardo von Nestor is moved back to his previous location”‘s setup right, and you could maybe make a round last forever

We should probably have a safety valve that if Josh has ever processed more than (say) 50 steps we should probably assume that Richardo is effectively stuck in some kind of loop and end the Crypt Entry action there, rather than forcing Josh to keep running it or abandon the atomic to go stale.
