In the rule “The Passenger’s Log”, replace the bullet point “Man Overboard” in its entirety by a new bullet point with the following text:
Seasick: A random Sailor has their Sickness increased by 5.
There are no more aimless sailors, so the steward would have nothing to do, but 10 sickness at once is too brutal.
the Author of this post has been accused of extracting gold from people by withholding the administrations of the steward. I’d prefer not to feed that fire.
since there’s no way for a regular sailor to reduce their sickness. Thematically, being seasick doesn’t require a medical professional to get over.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
