Create a new rule, “My face is up here”:
When a Contestant casts a vote of DEFERENTIAL on a proposal which has been created by a Contestant that has X or more Looks than the voter, the DEFERENTIAL vote is counted as a FOR instead of as a DEFERENTIAL. The value of X is equal to Quorum.

I don’t think the “X or” does anything with the current wording; it might as well say a “Contestant that has more Looks than the voter”.
Looks, as measured when: when the proposal is made? When the DEF vote is cast? When the proposal is adminned?
@spike: It says it happens when votes are counted, votes are only counted when the proposal is admined. It wouldn’t have made sense any other time.
(AGAINST due to ambiguity, although I like the concept; VETO due to being antiquorumed after my AGAINST).
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
