In the rule “Tier 6: The Wall” change

No Mindjacker may carry out any Existential Action or Weekly Action defined in the rules and subrules with a Tier Level of 1, 2, 3, or 4.

Mindjackers may only carry out an Existential Action or Weekly Action defined in the rules and subrules with a Tier of 1, 2, 3, or 4 if its Tier is their Occupancy Tier or if they are Enlightened. No Mindjacker is Enlightened.

Add a new subrule to that rule. Call it “Turnabout” and give it the following text:

Each Mindjacker may or may not have a Symbol Name. This is secretly tracked by the Ascendant. If a Mindjacker of level 6 or higher lacks a Symbol Name, the Ascendant can assign them a Symbol Name that is different from any other Symbol Name currently in use and notify them privately of their new Symbol Name. The Ascendant should assign the Symbol Name when there are no non-Manifested Mindjackings.

If a Mindjacker’s Symbol Name changes, or they lose their Symbol Name entirely, the Ascendant shall notify them of their new Symbol Name or lack thereof.

Mindjackers have a publicly tracked Occupancy Tier, which is Tier 0 or the Tier of an existing Tier Rule, and defaults to Tier 0. As an Existential Action, a Mindjacker who has received their Symbol Name may change their Occupancy Tier to any Tier from Tier 1 to Tier 5, inclusive. Mindjackers have a Home Tier equal to their level.

A Mindjacker with a Symbol Name may be subjected as an Avatar would to another Mindjacker’s Mindjacking, with the following modifications:
* They count as having every star sign.
* If they would be destroyed, they instead lose their Symbol Name and the Ascendant forces them to Descend twice.

A Mindjacker is not affected as an Avatar would be by their own Mindjacking attempt.

A Mindjacker with a Symbol Name counts as an Avatar for the purpose of determining what messages appear in the Ascendant’s response to other Mindjackers’ Psychic Ping if and only if they have had the same Symbol Name since the Psychic Ping was posted.

No Mindjacker with a Symbol Name counts as an Avatar for the purpose of Portents generated by the rule “Portents”.
