Add a new subrule to the rule Levels of Reality, called Detectedness:

Each Mindjacker has publicly tracked Observations, defaulting to an empty set. An Observation must be one of the strings outlined in this rule. When a Mindjacker has an Observation, all effects of that Observation are applied to them at all times. A Mindjacker may not have the same Observation twice at the time time; if they would gain an Observation that they already have, they instead gain no Observation.

As an Existential Action, a Mindjacker may spend 1 Matterium to loose a single Observation of their choice. Any Mindjacker who has had a given Observation for five consecutive days may loose that Observation.

The valid Observations and their effects are as follows:
CLUSTERING: This Mindjacker may not have a Level that is the same as the Level of any other Mindjacker; if they do then they may and must Descend until they are either not on the same Level as another Mindjacker, or have a Level of 1.
ROUTINE: While any Mindjacker has the ROUTINE Observation, the Ascendant may include an Astrology Reading (which is the name or identifying characteristics of two Existential Actions, randomly selected) in the daily Activity Report. If there is a most recent Astrology Reading then the only Existential Actions that a Mindjacker with this Observation may carry out are those listed within it.
BLOCKADE x: When this Observation is acquired by a Mindjacker, a random Tier number is generated and appended to its name in the place of ‘x’. The Mindjacker with this Observation cannot carry out any Existential Action or Weekly Action defined in the rules and subrules with that Tier Level.
PRESSURED: If the Mindjacker with this Observation has a Meme then they lose both this Observation and that Meme (if they have multiple Memes they lose one at random).

Add the following to the rule Tier 7: Inverted Tesselation Grid:

The Ascension Criterion for this Tier is that the Mindjacker must have at least one Observation.

If Proposal: Mindjacker Hunters was enacted, in the rule Avatar Activity, after the text “if it is then the action is Detected”, add the following:

, and the Ascendant should randomly select an Observation and apply it to the Mindjacker that carried out that Action.
