Replace “If a Swashbuckler other than Elias IX has been Captain for 3 full days” with “If a Swashbuckler other than Elias IX has held the role of ‘Captain’ for 3 full days” in Rule 2.18, if it’s still there.
I can’t believe this is really an issue—would anyone support a DoV based on this?

I’m amused enough to consider it if the argument is sufficient.
I’d like to point out that I’m fulfilling the role of “Captain” right now by posting this.
Because most players won’t take this seriously unless I decide to declare victory.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
