Proposal: Biting action

Reached quorum 3-1-2. (Doctor’s DEF becomes FOR as 3>1, other remaining DEF then becomes FOR.) Enacted by Kevan.

To the section "Lycanthropy", add
As a daily action, a villager displaying the symptom of Wolf Form may declare that they are biting another villager who is Near to them. This must be done either in a blog post or in a private message to both the bitten villager and the doctor. That bitten villager then immediately gains the disease Lycanthropy. If they did not yet have that disease before being bitten, the bitten villager must not take any game actions from the moment they gain Lycanthropy until the end of that day.

Turning wolf is fun but knocks you out for a day.

Note: Since this can be done via pm, would say two people with Wolf Form be able to bite each other? I guess that would be resolved with the time it was sent, and if they happen at the exact same time they are both bitten. What would happen if someone is secretly bitten and the person does an action before the Doctor informs them?

Say they try to eat something from their inventory but they were legally bitten, wouldn’t they have to correct it in the GNDT? Maybe it would be better to have the biter send the pm to the bitee and cc the Doctor in it.

imperial Getting the voting ball rolling. Denying a player any game action (even voting) for a potential 24 hours might be a bit strong.

for Properly, this should forbid dynastic actions, not all game actions. But that’s not a big enough obstacle to keep me from voting for it.
