In “Redaction”, before “Upon determining such a Secret”, add:-
(The Director’s choice of each Secret should be made by choosing a secretly random word from a list of possible words that occur to them as being usable in the redacted space.)
Making it explicit that I’m going to be choosing these at kind-of random, rather than trying to make subjective calls about what would be fair or interesting or a horrible surprise. If it’s “[REDACTED] Damage” it’ll probably be one of the Damage types with equal possibility, plus the word “any” if that would fit, etc.
I realize this is just making explicit something that’s already happening, but I like judgment calls.
