Create a dynastic rule entitled “Nudge”:

Each @ has a non-negative integer number of nudges, which is tracked in the GNDT and defaults to 1. As a daily action, if an @ has not yet used any nudges that day, they may set their nudges equal to their dungeon level.

A nudge may be used by an @ to change the result of one of their own DICE rolls by 1 in either direction. A single roll (even if that roll involves multiple DICE, e.g. 3DICE6) by be affected by no more than one nudge. When a nudge is used by an @, that @ must immediately follow the DICE roll with a GNDT comment which says “nudge” and includes the new value of the roll. the number of nudges they have goes down by one. No @ may use a nudge if the number of nudges they have is 0.

Was waiting for Josh to repropose this, but he didn’t so…

against  because the nudges apply to Finding Treasure.  They are extremely abusive when applied to enhancement rolls, and still unacceptably strong when used on other treasure-related rolls.

In addition to the above objections, a nudge could affect the roll that determines whether or not a found item is enchanted.  Also, it’s possible to nudge several rolls within the same Finding Treasure.  Finally, a roll can be nudged outside its normal bounds, breaking some of the loot tables.

The RNG says veto , as this proposal would severely unbalance the game.
