I think we have agreed in Slack that my wiki edits were in first, and I had a comfortable 40 seconds between my edit and Derrick’s to make this post, so I probably have this legitimately.

Looks legit. Explaining this for future historians: Josh performed enough Research to win, and posted a DoV which they’d started editing twenty minutes earlier, so had that timestamp. Derrick took a Research action shortly after, so it’s unclear whether Derrick’s Research happened before the DoV airlock closed.
The Wiki API shows a gap of 39 seconds between their own Research action and Derrick’s. I guess it’s up to us how to interpret that, and whether Derrick has anything to say about the timing from their perspective.
And ah, there’s Derrick’s response. So it’s fine by me.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
