Story Post: Bounty Notice: A win condition we can agree on

I’m looking for a win condition to be added to the ruleset via writing a proposal that gets enacted, which ideally would have the following properties (which are not hard requirements, but I will be judging whether I think the “spirit” of them is met when deciding my vote on this Bounty Notice):

  • It encourages players to participate in the dynastic gameplay and score Triumphs, even if they are eventually planning to win by scam;
  • It makes it possible for players to win the dynasty conventionally even with no scams involved, giving players who are bad at scams a reasonable chance at a conventional win;
  • It rewards players to a moderate extent for having done well at the dynastic gameplay so far, without being too harsh on players who are behind (especially if they are behind due to bad luck) or who join the dynasty halfway through, or overly rewarding to players who have ended up a long way ahead to due to good luck;
  • Although it does not have to entirely exclude pooling possibilities, it shouldn’t give pools of players an excessive benefit compared to solo players.

One thing that you should probably take into account when writing it is that the Reinitialisation rule allows players who are behind to, once in the dynasty, increase their Triumph count to the average amount among all players, which a) can help to compensate for early bad luck and b) means that the total number of Triumphs that are potentially in existence may be higher than it would appear based on the tracker.
