Presumably this post originally had some other text, which you have since edited, right?  Assuming you hadn’t yet commented, that was perfectly legal.  You could have also changed the category of the post so that it was no longer a Proposal.

It was a duplicate of “Brute force, directed at the slackers”.  (check name of this webpage in your address bar).  I will try to edit to de-proposalify this post.  (Expression engine sometimes works funny when I access it from this computer- sometimes I hit “submit” and nothing happens; sometimes I hit “submit” and the post actually goes through but I don’t get any visual indication of that, so I hit “submit” again.  Double post.
