If any Wizards have more than four cards in their hands, remove all but the four least-recently-added cards in each of those hands.

Replace “A Wizard may have up to nine cards in their hand” with “A Wizard may have up to four cards in their hand”, and replace “9 cards” with “4 cards” throughout the ruleset.

In “The Haruspex”, replace “then draw six cards” with “then draw three or fewer cards, then discard up to three cards, then draw three or fewer cards”.

Adding a reason to start playing cards.

The Haruspex, which I hold, allows you to draw six cards, also 4 seems like a really low cap.

Good point about the Haruspex, I’ve added a clause to cover it.

Four seems okay to me. It feels like we’re about ready to start playing cards, and it’s already a little overwhelming that I currently have to skim sixty Up and Down effects to see what everyone is currently capable of. If we get up to 9 cards each (and create new cards to meet demand), I’d have to skim 180.
