Proposal: Card / Sphinx coinflip.

Reached quorum 2-4 failed by card.
Ach, hold on, I was used to all of those CfJ. I have to wait for the other one. That was quick.

As per, there exists a play that card and Sphinx could do which would maximize their chances of winning (50-50), versus otherwise competing with me and each other in the Final Bowl lottery.

Or they can opt to intentionally play suboptimally. (unless they pull some scam that skews their chance to win to be 100%. And if they had one, I believe they would’ve pulled such a scam already, which they haven’t, so I don’t believe they have one.)

This proposal emulates the situation where card and Sphinx play optimally given the situation at hand and what has been publicly recognized to be performable actions with our current situation (in particular, the Godmaker scam), and saves us time and bother needing to play the games and all, which from personal experience is tedious and annoying and prone to errors which will likely mean more quarreling and boring fiddling about our over complicated lottery system.

Once this proposal passes, the Commissioner will roll a 1d2. If it gets a result of 1, add to the ruleset:

The Manager named card has achieved victory.

If it gets a result of 2, add to the ruleset:

The Manager named Sphinx has achieved victory.

Why sphinx and card?

Considering that the Godmaker scam is a thing, if card and Sphinx both collaborate (as the two people with the least Starting Cash), they can make everyone else have 0% chance of winning and they have 50% chance of winning each.

Okay, but I would still prefer a metadynasty.

There’s a CFJ to undo all your shit, don’t count your eggs before they hatch.

I still question the legality of auctioning off another manager’s bloggers. That said, if the procedure was and still is legal, could any other managers not in the flip simply auctionkill every blogger in the roster?

They could.  I can’t fathom a reason why you people haven’t made it illegal yet.  In any case, the scam was transferring other people’s players and then auctioning them off, so that wasn’t what happened.

@Ora: Yes, but not the Godmaker scam, which this is about.

@Matt: They could, but not in time, because I could choose exactly when the Overseeing match would be and I could get it done all done at an arbitrary in seconds.

get it all done at an arbitrary time, in seconds*

You’re excluded from the final bowl in those CFJs.  Face it, you’re not wanted here.

05-17-2017 20:08:03 UTC

@Ora: Lol.

05-17-2017 20:28:34 UTC

@Oracular: That has nothing to do with not wanting Cuddle, and everything to do with those games are won by default. Also there’s a CfJ to make it illegal.

@Matt: The Auctioning off scam was perfectly legal because the scam wasn’t the Auction rule, but the trade rule.

I’ll defer my vote here to what card and Sphinx think.

05-18-2017 05:43:29 UTC

I’m not sure, but I’d rather like it if the final bowl is actually played.

see “Hands Off Our Bears!”

Look at all the time we put into gameplay mechanics, I’d rather try it out. Although the commissioner could do something of their choice to make certain people more likely to win. Perhaps a random order of match ups?  against

I thought about that, but wanted the cfj to stay as simple as possible.
