Add a new rule called “Repairs”:
As a Weekly Action, an Adventurer can spend 500 Merit to Hire Stonemasons. Upon doing so, the Cathedral gains 500 HP.
The game should end once everyone has had a chance to be a Monster anyways.
Given the number of Adventurers, I already doubt we’ll get that low on the Cathedral’s HP score.
Seems extremely niche, if the Cathedral is unlikely to ever actually collapse.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.

Hmm, can’t see much use for this except for a player who can’t win taking a hit to prolong the game in the hope that it’ll make enough difference to an accomplice.
