Proposal: Chain of Command

Make a rule called “Chain of Command”:

At any time, the Admiral may nominate a Captain to take over the role of Admiral. If the nominated Captain declines, any willing Captains may volunteer for the role and the Admiral will choose one.
When a Captain has been chosen, the Admiral shall hand over the Chart and cease all of the Admiral’s duties, and the Captain shall become the Admiral.

A safeguard against more delays.

Noteably the passing is in Shall form, and thus can’t be forced upon the Admiral if someone were to, say, choose themselves. (Which otherwise could’ve been a scam.)

What is BlogNomic?

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.

The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
