Although referring to rules by their numbers and breezily pointing to “the correct spot” and hoping the enacting admin agrees with you are bad habits to get into.

I assumed that it was probably better to use rule numbers when editing both dynasic rules and the appendix. no other proposal on the queue repeals rules so the numbers don’t change.
I’m not sure if there is more than one interpretation for “correct spot” when inserting an item into an alphabetical list.

I generally don’t like rule numbers, but in this case, the numbers are more precise than the names, as multiple rules are named “Definitions”

Its actually hard to concisely say “The correct spot”, though “th alphabetically correct spot” might have been stronger.

Using rule numbers alone is risky because it’s harder for players to notice if there’s been a typo - even moreso now that the rule headings themselves aren’t numbered outside of the index.

“Correct” is subjective enough to be scammed, I think, if a decision is correct for a scammer’s particular purpose.
