Add to the end of the Processing action in the rule “Adherents” the following bullet point:
* Randomly select a Building to be Under Discussion, a status which is publicly tracked, until the next time Processing is begun.
Reword the sentence in the rule “Buildings” that reads “At the end of each Cycle, each Building gains Progress Amount equal to the triangle number of the number of Citizens who have that Building as their Workplace. ” to read:
At the end of each Cycle, each Building gains a Progress Amount equal to the triangle number of the number of Citizens who have that Building as their Workplace, or a Progress Amount equal to twice that triangle number, if the Building is currently Under Discussion.
I think it’s interesting to occasionally incentivize people to change up long-term plans.
for me; the acceleration in pace of building progress will at some point be inevitable but I’d rather see how the mechanics settle in for a bit first
