In “Reinitialization”, append the following to the first paragraph:
Additionally, the tags and Data Store of that AI’s Server Room are reset to their default states.
These values persisting seems okay narratively and mechanically, it’s only the “accomplice can easily generate Files for you every day” issue that needs addressing, I think.
I’d worry that if we made Reinitialization too much of a punishment, players would just take fewer and fewer game actions.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
