Call for Judgment: Cleaning up the CfJ’s

Illegal per 1.7 due to failure to explain the issue. The flavour text does not count per the glossary. - adminned by coppro

Adminned at 22 Oct 2011 14:35:42 UTC

If the following CfJ’s are still pending, fail them:

12/18/08
Call for Judgment: Categorical imperative, redux
pass me quick
too many?
Emergency Law
Emergency Law patch
CfJ: Why can’t we all just get along?
Big Red Button
CfJ: The only option
CfJ: Friends together Redux
Legally Cleaning Up 1.7
FOR THE LOVE OF SUBER
Well, now that that’s over
Time to take control
Hey, you know what happens when you look for core rules scams?
Time travel can’t change the past

Conceptually will close out the CfJ’s which have no chance of passing and are only furthering to divide the group of nomic players.  Ideally this will pass with an overwhelming majority of votes showing that people want to play the game and not just screw around.

for Please, everyone on both sides vote for this. It obviously isn’t a scam, and it’ll just help us get back to regular gameplay faster.

against the implication that if I vote for this it’s because of partisanship, but for the effects.

I disgree with the inclusion of “Time travel…” in the category “CfJ’s which [...] are only furthering to divide the group of nomic players”, but it’s likely going to fail already, and if it doesn’t, we’ve got big trouble on our hands.

Yes, that should have been And/Or I’m sorry guys.  I didn’t mean to imply everything there was a partisan proposal.

Amnistar: Actually, my objection was to ais’ comment; the flavour text seems reasonable to me. :)

Note that if any CfJ listed is adminned, this whole CfJ has no effect; I suggest admins avoid adminning any of the listed CfJs until this passes.

It’s faster at this point to vote it through with no effect than to try and fail it.

Doesn’t it have to be all or nothing? Surely the proposal does nothing if *any* of these aren’t here.

Explains issue in flavor text. CfJ is legal.

Ely:

22-10-2011 21:29:13 UTC

Is this CfJ legal? “The post shall go on to describe the issue”. This doesn’t.

“Conceptually will close out the CfJ’s which have no chance of passing and are only furthering to divide the group of nomic players.”

That could count, right?

zuff:

Flavour text is not part of the post. This CfJ _is_ illegal.
