Three players doesn’t seem like enough for an interesting game here, and I’m not sure how convincingly the Government could be swapped in as a player at this point. Maybe Dormancy is for the best, to encourage any lurkers to unidle or to join.

it’s worth noting the requirements are a big larger for this dynasty for checking in. other dynasties sometimes had 2 - 4 intermittent days where nobody did anything even voting.

I think this is a particularly fun dynasty as far as rules gelling together and forcing me to think about difficult tradeoffs. The rules are fairly daunting for a new player though. Is there a plan if nobody brings us out of dormancy for a week? A month?

No plan, but my guess is that after a couple of weeks someone would CfJ to end the dynasty. Sooner if any lurkers spoke up and said that they’d rather start a new dynasty than continue this one.

What if we pass a proposal to put Cuddlebeam back in the game (increase health for example) ? I would prefer that than dormancy or artificially declaring a winner.

I agree with pokes, this dynasty is fun. It’s a bit slow because we can only play at specific time slots so many times when we connect there is nothing to do, but it does require a lot of thinking on the best strategy.

(but in all fairness, I would say you still have a chance Cuddlebeam, since noone can attack anymore and there’s at least 3 more crates before I can even get enough to buy my last money, and things/rules are bound to change before that)

Cuddlebeam’s still in the game and I wouldn’t want to create an incentive to threaten idling to get concessions. (not that I’m saying that’s what Cuddlebeam is currently up to, just that it would create the precedent)

Anyway I vote : the game is still interesting even with 3, I think we each have fairly balanced win odds and different approaches to get there. I’d like to play it out.

I’m going to regret this but:

Unidle me.

There is no requirement to be Idle to be unidled (of course, an Admin could just decline to do this), and I’m going to set a bunch of my values to their default (the rope’s wielded status, my Stances, my Health, etc) to get a boost.

(I pretty much have nothing to do but Core Rule scams which are always available but oh well…)
