Call for Judgment: Compromise.

Destroyed by compromise—Rodlen

Adminned at 18 Dec 2008 22:18:58 UTC

You know what?  Screw this.

If this CfJ passes, the First Metadynasty of Rodlen shall start.  Rodlen will choose the theme and act as a Narrator, but with only one Veto per week.

So?  Neither does a possible end result of the Democracy CfJ.

I’ll just make it make sense after this passes.

fuck this.

24 hours ago, i thought rodlen was going to win, and i was happy with that.

not anymore.

rodlen, your one real argument at this point (that we didn’t know about the secret rule, so we couldn’t follow it) simply doesn’t hold up. we are bound by all rules of the game whether we know of them or not.  “ignorance of the law is no excuse” i believe is an apt phrase.

we could have changed our relationship points appropriately at the appropriate time, and it would have been legal.  we did not (because we didn’t know we could), but we were required to.  therefore, now that we know we were required to, the correct thing to do is to correct the gamestate.  not to put forth a billion cfjs.

the current gamestate should be, and is, easily correctable.  however, the piles and piles of cfjs currently clogging up the game are preventing what should have been an easy resolution.

the fact that so many of these cfjs are yours bespeaks a worrisome desperation for power and a troublesome refusal to listen to reason. even you refer to yourself as paranoid. i simply think you are taking the game too seriously at the moment if you are willing to cfj, cfj, cfj until you get your way, and that you think that is an acceptable course of action.

However, we could not follow said rule.  I am compromising with the rest of you.  Allowing you all to have your metadynasty.

The CfJs came from the CfJs that came from the CfJs.  Even I got tired enough of them to compromise.
