An equivalent amendment was proposed a year ago and my view hasn’t really changed since then. The Imperial Style list being gamestate makes it completely clear who can edit it (anyone) and how (proposal), and whether the blog records that it has happened (yes). It’s part of the Nomic. Without that, we have an informal back-and-forth in the wiki history between whoever is bold enough to make changes, which may or may not escalate into a proposal to settle the question. There’ll probably also be some false sense that only Emperors and veteran players are “allowed” to make those edits.

If an Emperor wants a style that isn’t on the page they can still declare whatever they like as their Style in the Ascension Address and follow that (like Ais’s nuance and hybrids and Raven’s general thoughts on mechanics), later proposing to record a permanent, concise version of it if the group agree.
