Add the rule “References” to Votable Matters with the text
When a Votable Matter refers to another Votable Matter by its exact title, it is understood that it means the most recent Votable Matter created before the referring Votable Matter was submitted.
Although ah, this needs to say “it means the most recent Votable Matter with that name created before the referring Votable Matter was submitted”, otherwise it’ll always point to the previous Votable Matter in the queue, irrespective of title.
per Kevan, and also in pique as I’ve been sitting on that scam for years but never got round to using it.
It’s a risky one, though, as any other admin (including a superficially idle one) could get there first.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
