Proposal: Crooks that act as such

Add the following to the rule “Garage”:

A Crook may, as a weekly action, attempt to Pick a Lock. To Pick a Lock, a Crook must roll DICE:6 in the GNDT. Upon a roll of 2, 3, or 4, nothing happens. On a roll of 5 or 6, the Crook may add the name of any Crook to their “Keys” field. On a roll of 1 the Crook must remove all names from their “Keys” field.

Its a weekly action with a one-third chance of success. Changing locks is daily and guaranteed. Its not overpowered.

True, but in a lot of cases you only need access to a garage for a few seconds to activate whatever’s inside (burning through some Explosives or Narcotics for a street race, respraying your Car, or using a Gym in order to immediately spend its points improving your Car), so the lock-changing response isn’t that big a deal. With the game ending in five days’ time, this is just a free stat boost for 2.3 random players.
