Proposal: Dionysus (Daemon Research)

Cannot be enacted without a CoV (1-6).  Brendan

Adminned at 23 Jul 2007 10:53:54 UTC

Dionysus
Summoning cost: 9

At any time, a corporation employing this daemon may double or halve any number (but not variables) that appears in ruleset section 2.6 Daemons. This change may apply only to one person that the user chooses. Only one number may be changed at any one time and it may stay changed until the user unsummons Dionysus, fails to pay daemon maintenance or wishes to switch to another target. . This ruleset change must be stated in the inventory of the person affected.
The Corporation employing Dionysus have to pay an extra 2 souls in addition to maintenance when time advances.

Wahahaha.

pretty powerful… and can cause high abuse… I just though of 3-4 ways without hardly trying!!! If no one could have it but me, I’d vote yes, but since that’s not the case…  against
Bid: $15M

imperial A high price, but not quite high enough. This is one powerful daemon. Plus there’s nothing to stop Corporations ganging up and doing unearthly damage with Daemons like Ifrit and Iblis. But apart from all that, it’s a possibility.
Bid: $1M.

Waaaaay too powerful even though it’s less effective than intended.  As written, it doesn’t affect any numbers in the subrules of Rule 2.6.  It’s only real use is to greatly increase someone else’s mantenance costs.

ah… yes… not as powerful as intended… I’d love to summon a daemon with -1000 summoning cost {:0)

Chivalrybean:The numbers can only be changed by doubling or halving them.

Ah well, just wanted to see the general response. Ill self kill this after I get more responses and see if I can come up with a better one.

Bucky: Ruleset section 2.6 includes the subrules doesn’t it?

I am thinking maybe the power can be reduced to 1.5 instead of 2. Ie. divide or multiply by 1.5
