Proposal: Dance of the sugar plum fairies

timed out. fails 2-2—Clucky

Add a new dynastic rule called “Teleports” with the following text

A worker may spend one quota to perform a Machine Swap. When a Worker performs a Machine Swap, he activates a machine. He then activates a second machine. This activation is distinct from the first one (so he can choose any RP he wants for it). The two activated machines switch their positions on the Factory Floor.

against  Meh. Seems weaker than shift changes honestly.

Willing to CoV if someone can provide a usecase but otherwise I see no point.

shift change is too slow if what you’re really trying to do is move machine A to certain position… (i.e. to get a pair of machines next to each other)

I actually disagree, because with a shift change (especially with the new Ambler rules) I have a very high chance of shifting the correct row/column of the machine I want.

This swapping mechanic is just a crap shoot, since I *have* to get the right machine from the activation.

true, but you get two chances and can do it in one shot (while with shfiting, if dice hose you it might take a while to actually get two machines close enough).

besides, at the worst no one uses it and it becomes another lefty…
